      Kid needs crazy amount of conditioning combined with weight loss and added weight room muscle. He's ridiculously slow and has no hops but those are things that can be fixed. He isn't fat but he's the wrong kind of "big". He's running out of time too. If he doesn't start shedding that baby fat and replacing it with lean muscle he's going to be mid-level D1 at best.

    He always had issues with stamina and needed to take basketball more seriously. He kinda set himself up to get ranked that low by going to a powerhouse. Players like Mikey are smart because they get the ball and sure you don’t have the same training facilities and coaches but being a big part of a offense helps you more than being a role player at a powerhouse.

  • @rakhunuhepptaylor2135

    He is potentially in the best high school for development of his game. He will eventually make the main team by his senior year and will be ranked by his senior year. Mac Donald's All American? We will see. It depends on the college team he attends. He has to go somewhere where he will be developed and not a talent mill like Kentucky, Gonzaga, Duke, Kansas etc. He is not dominant because he is at IMG Academy. The training and diet will eventually have him become chiseled and athletic. If he transfers to the school 🏫 you are talking about, hopefully he can keep up the training and diet that IMG Academy afforded him. He is also getting help from a lot of basketball trainers. His work out videos show a diverse skill set. It really depends upon the college that he attends and what NBA team picks him up and how good their development coaching is. Maybe the G league team Ignite will be a good idea 💡 for him. Stay away from the talent mills where someone like him would go and end up in the same situation like he is experiencing at IMG Academy but worse. He seems to be good friends with Mikey Williams. Perhaps a black college like Howard University is a thought. Or maybe go play with Shaqir O'Neal as it looks like they will he will be there for four years. Again leave the talent mills alone. Remember Dakari Johnson? Talent mill issue, even though he won a National Championship for his NBA career has suffered because he went to Kentucky. That happens to Big Men all of the time.

    • @rakhunuhepptaylor2135
      @rakhunuhepptaylor2135 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@richrancy Dakari Johnson started over Joel Embiid in high-school and was the number 1 rated Center in the country coming out of high-school a bona-fide McDonald'sAll American. He went to Kentucky for two years and won a national championship but his NBA career has not gone well at all. This happens all of the time with Centers.

    • @rakhunuhepptaylor2135
      @rakhunuhepptaylor2135 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@richrancy Not arguing the point that Embiid was a better talent, clearly that is the case. But, if you are the number 1 center in the country coming out of high-school, then it is fair to presume that if he was in a better situation in terms of developing his game, that his NBA career would have been more successful. His game didn't develop to that point at Kentucky. If you are the number one player at your position coming out of high-school and you go to a talent mill like Kentucky and Don't get the development coaching to really make a significant mark careerwise in the NBA, then it is clearly better off if you went somewhere else that would have given you a more focal point of the offense and invested more time into developing your game so that you could maximize your potential in the NBA. That's always a risk when you go to a talent mill like Kentucky or Duke,or Kansas, or Gonzaga, etc. All in the name of stacking your chances of Chasing a NCAA National championship Sometimes it works out well for an individual's needs, but oftentimes it doesn't. If he had focused on developing into a bona-fide perennial NBA All Star and picked a school that gave him the best chance to do that, maybe he would not have won a National championship but maybe he would have had the career that he potentially could have had. This young man here , Jahzare Jackson is not even ranked at present. He clearly has talent enough to succeed at some level in the NBA perennially. He definitely needs to go to a situation that will prioritize his basketball skills development and not a talent mill like Kentucky, Gonzaga, Duke, North Carolina or Kansas etc. Where he could be potentially buried under other top recruits at his same position.

    Idk how far his talent will take him in basketball,he isn’t wow popping,but not bad. I hope he opens up his potential and try football out.I have seen too many kids focus on one sport and hold themselves back. Try some of everything then narrow your options down by senior year. Seen kids focus on one sport then senior year do multiple and pick up way better/more offers in the sport they weren’t focused on. I work in college sports now,some of my colleagues and friends that are recruiters at other schools right now been scouting him,but he isn’t interested in football. Look at players like Antonio Gates,Jimmy Graham,T.O., Mo Alie-Cox,Tony Gonzalez . . So many you can name who first love Basketball,but you gotta recognize what you better in and gives you best opportunity. . . Simple answer, he was never that good to begin with. He's a good high school player don't get me wrong but, you can't rank a slow-footed big man who isn't that skilled very high. I don't think he can make it to the NBA, not athletic enough or skilled enough, he can be a solid college player and maybe a low-level Euroleague player down the line.

    • @russellpo7758
      @russellpo7758 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Omg_thatsmarion Making it to the NBA is one of the hardest things to do in sports. Although he is faster than before, he is still slow by NBA standards. And skill wise, I know the r2 videos make it seem like he's going to be a shooter, but I think we should all be beyond that, players like Hassan Whiteside and Javale McGee are automatic an open gym. He also doesn't seem to be a strong rim finisher at the high school level, which is a no-go in the NBA. I truly do wish him the best but, I just don't see the NBA in his future.

    • @damienrowley5062
      @damienrowley5062 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      Left tackles deal primarily with defensive ends, but I bet you meant or* not on*. And with that I would agree, if he’s cool with getting real physical and tackling backs, I’d like to see him play as a big “Snacks” Harrison type nose. Would be a force for interior lineman with that size especially putting on the needed muscle/strength to move those other large men around. But he could do the tackle role on offense too, as you said, good footwork. Would just need to commit to the teaching he would get so he wouldn’t get beat too often by small fast pass rushers. I hope he commits to football. Would love to see it.

    I saw a newer video of him just now at 19 years old. He just really isn`t that good. I remember him saying at 14, he was dealing with pains in his joints due to his body always growing. He now weights 300 pounds. Young big men only get bigger as they get older. Jackson would be better off converting to football and. I can tell he really doesn`t like moving fast.
