Wow, So well explained for copy and mod it. Im just wondering how many hours you need to be this level of genius to make this out of scatch "I want to make God Rays, lets put this on that and so on"
@@irinaknyazeva4267 Try running blender on administrator, and turn on the Node wrangler add-on just to be sure that nodes' shortcuts are running, though you won't need that in 4.2v
Thanks mate! It projects the noise texture on the cylinder shape using the object normal in local space, that's why shade smoothing is essential here with removing the top and bottom, cause we need the normal to go one why, thus we used and xyz node with it. I recommend watching daniel kraffts video where he explained all material nodes th-cam.com/video/cQ0qtcSymDI/w-d-xo.html
It does work with Eevee. If you're on 4.2+ it will work by switching to Eevee alone, previous versions might need you to fix the blend mode in the material to alpha blender for the transparency, still cycles show it better.
The Nishita sky texture is a good way to get nice lighting for both interior and outdoor scenes. You can go with HDRI for better lighting outside at the cost of higher loads. We explore this in the channel with many interior scene and some exterior ones so check them out.
As always truly amazing and immense value to watches it
Thanks mate! glad it helped
This is perfect for my potato PC
lol gotta make it work somehow.

with a bit of adjustment I can make fake fog with it
glad it helped!
great work, thank you
glad it helped mate!
Very useful skill good Job
glad it helped mate!
Nice 😊❤❤❤❤
I don't understand what you switch using control shift. It doesn't work. And on 2:09 doesn't appear a gradient on my cylinder 😢
Control shift click will preview any selected node, i used it on the XYZ node and with the generated coordinate it will appear as a gradient on the Z.
@architecturetopics nah... Nothing happens when i attach generated to separate 🤷🏼♀️ also those clicks with shift and ctrl doesn't work

Superb! Can you explain what the connection Texture Coordinate/Normal to Noise Texture/Vector actually does ?
Thanks mate!

@@architecturetopics Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. It took me a while to understand how it works :) Very clever use of normals.
Blendeeerrrrr✌
✌
Good job
thanks!
Nice
thanks!
Eevee didn't work well at all but cycles worked great!
The file is free on my shop, check it out from the link in the description if you want to see the Eevee settings.
Does this work on Eevee? (I don’t remember you saying if it did or didn’t)

@@architecturetopics Thank you so much!!
