The Discard Quest can work though...even in legend! Agree that it's not nearly as good as this tempo discard version but if you build your deck around it (Bigger discard guys like doomguard or more rely on Cataclysm and stuff which complete it in one turn in best case) it shines :) And "unkillable" 3/2 's every round are no joke...its a bit slow but so are all "Turn 1" Quests in tempo classes...the overstatted clears and cards kinda make up for it ;) The Tempo version is just faster and more enjoyable maybe but i wouldn't call the Quest "Bad"

A simple discard synergy they could add quest wise would be discard 3 cards return the 3 cards discarded to your hand and just make it a 1 cost side quest or something
What happens if you Soularium Clutchmother or Jeklik? Do they keep the discard at end of turn enchantment like with Chaos Gazer. Also why no Wicked Skeleton in this deck?
Nether portal: Your discarded card returns into your deck. I don't think it is what this deck care as it fit more value-oriented deck but it at least adds more interesting decision making like shuffling the quest into your deck for a future quest completion with Cataclysm or Deathwing or some more stupid shenanigans.

B: It automatically starts generating Imps upon completion of the quest Since neither of those two things will ever be implemented, much less both of them, it will never be used.
What if the discard quest gives you a 5 mana 8/8 that returns all cards you've discarded to your hand? Pretty comparable to the shaman quest reward, and since that is at least somewhat playable in an aggro deck I could see this being decent.

The Solarium has and will continue to see use. (Mainly in Mecha'thun and Disco atm). Most of the rares may not serve the same versatility though. But if you like the deck and think it won't be regretted? By all means go and make it. It wins and it's a good time.
Hey roffle I know the quest is terrible, but I think it could be a funny video if you made a control style discard quest lock. I've done it before, and while it's stupid and unreliable, when you win it feels soooo good.

I reach Legend with a simmilar version, but i use the prime card and voidwalker too, and i dont use jaraxxus fist and the 4 mana 3/8, because i dont have LOL.
If the quest and quest reward would have "play or discard effect" it would be a lot better. As a better quest reward I'm thinking of smth like adding cards in deck, summoning discarded minions or adding discarded cards to the hand... or casting 4 fists of jaraxxus

Looks like a deck that can be fun (when not discarding cards you want) and I agree with what you’ve said in the past about the quest but jeez did you seem really adamant about how the quest wouldn’t work in the deck. Like your tone and demeanor changed so you were super serious Roffle. Wow did you make your point about the quest being bad (at least to me anyway)
The deck is definitely very good. The tone around the quest might have just been that I was getting questions about it (and other cards) every 10 minutes or so during the 3-4 hours I was playing the deck. I may have just been getting irritable answering the same question so frequently which can get exhausting at times.
Roffle true I know chat likes to “grind your gears” (to use a family guy term ;-) ) so it’s understandable that you might get irritated. Nothing wrong with that. I’m glad you replied and I’m glad you were having fun with the deck either way. OK, replace discard quest with a 1 mana spell with, when this card is played or discarded add "Step 1" to your hand, then each step needs to be discarded. Then you get your reward once they're all gone

Do you like played dicard deck for the first time? if you tell it "don't discard" it will. Hide your feelings. It can read your thoughts. Show that you stronger, don't let it taste your fear.
Your opening here...this is exactly how Discard lock plays. Just....pick the most valuable card in your hand, and that's the one it's gonna discard. So...when you have a really valuable card you really really dont want to discard...one that's 100% gonna win you the match...AVOID THE DISCARD MECHANIC 100%. Yes, that's almost impossible in this deck...but...the discard mechanic is rigged to absolute bullshit. Always ask yourself...what are the odds? And the odds of the "discard" mechanic being "random" is virtually none. Blizz decides who wins and when.
My MMR was a little low at the start, but I didn't face a single Silver opponent. Those are Diamond and Platinum ranked opponents. I went 33-3 with the deck and the entire run was streamed with a VOD still available. You're welcome to think what you want, but there's actual proof.

I've tried to make discard warlock work every time it gets new cards.
I'm glad it's able to work but mostly with old support
I'm lowkey glad it doesn't want or need Lakkari Sacrifice.
This is just how wild works. Eventually 1 or 2 cards get printed that pull it all together.
