My son & I " are currently working on a 46 suburban my father purchased 40yrs ago, I remember we took it out hunting and slept in the back' good memories '
The suburban was awesome and in fact better to have vs the truck that seats two. I ended up selling it to someone in CA that put an unsolicited offer in front of me I couldn’t refuse. It’s such a rare vehicle, I’ll always wish I had it again.
Omg I want her. I didn't know they made that few of them, awesomeness to the max. Would go great in my burban collection and she has the rear hatch doors not barn doors makes her perfect
Nice find. Not very many 1946 models of any type vehicles have survived in original condition. I had a 46 pickup back in the mid 70's that I bought for $300.00. It had been painted and had a bad 283 ci with a power glide. I had it for a few months but didn't get around to working on it. So many people kept bugging me about selling it that I finally put what I thought was a crazy price on it of $2500.00 and a guy showed up with his trailer in a few days and bought it. The next week I bought a new Chevy van for $3463.00. I bet the guys wife wasn't to happy with him because the truck was cobbled up pretty bad.
I had a 67 F250 that the neighbor spent months bugging me to buy, then he would bug my wife while I was at work. She wanted it stopped, and told me to just sell the truck. Should have never sold it...
Beautiful and unique model Suburban. You have a Wisconsin voice, but the neighborhood & topography are a lot like the suburbs of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. Suburbans are a mainstay of Texas. Moms and dads wouldn’t be caught dead in a minivan. (Your driveway was as shiny as your vehicle!) NOTE: You’re just over 30K views as of my 12/18 post. Not too shabby for a special niche type vid.

Lindíssima. Se eu encontrar uma dessa, com esse estado de conservação; eu compro.
Verdadeira obra de arte.

What a beauty.
Nice vehicle. Always great to see classics.
I want one. Just wish I had the money, oh well.
Thank you for the review Watching a original suburban walkthrough was a wonderful experience.
Knowing you just washed the vehicle, the birds were conspiring to start a bombing run.
So cool. Thanks for sharing this. How nice to see another treasure restored for future generations.
Did not know the model goes back this far.......sweet
suburbans came out in 1935 with prototypes being made in 1934

Perfect suburban ❤😂.
Very good.Love.
I like that rear windows were also operable. 82 horsepower. What year did Chevrolet start badge-ing them "Suburban" ?
Any chance you would share the measurements I the seats in the suburban? Lots of people looking for them, but none around! Going to try to make some!
So cool :-)
