I've probably played through W3 10 plus times on death march including all DLC, but I haven't played it in years ,and I almost always went with an igni/ fast attack build, and never invested anything into heavy attacks, getting back into the game now though, I was looking for something different and this is exactly what I was looking for, especially since it focuses on two signs I've never built around before.
I think I also had the exact same build in my first playthrough of Witcher 3. But instead of Strong Attacks, I spent my combat points on the Fast Attack and Adrenaline Brance. Also, instead of Griffin School Techniques, I had Focus on for that added Sign Intensity and Melee Damage, coupled with Adrenaline points that just never seem to go down, if I play carefully.

Lol to be fair there's not much of an "early build" to be had in The Witcher 3. Skill points come by slowly and the idea is you can start building towards this build early. Even without maxing out everything it should be fine.
You can build from Level 16-18, depends on your play style. But at level 30-34, the build will become devastating. As I am using mastercrafted Frline Armor with Protection Runeright and Griffin silver sword with Severance runeright , I am able to kill Toad Prince in 8-10 hit
@@thegoldenchild4657 no. You get more xp when you play the game like (your level 20, so complete mission which requires level 16-22) then you can level up fast. If the quest level and your level differs more than 5 then you get very very less XP. Like I play Ciri's quest (the isle of mist) at level 24 and get nearly 5,000+ xp but when I play the same quest at level 35, I hardly get 200 Xp or less (I forgot lol).
Been a while since I last played, used a sign focused build. But this hybrid build is really fun to play. personally I usually prefer Aard compared to Yrden just because of the knock down. But playing this build, against humans, it really made sense to use Yrden just because of the arrows. Fun build man 👍👍👍
Thanks for that comment. When I started out I actually used Aard as well for that same reason. You should be able to get the knockdown anyway at a decent range without spending points due to the sign intensity of the build. You can also put some glyphs on your armor to increase it that way. I suggest you save before and try it out. Yrden is useful against most monsters and all humans so it's a good all rounder. Glad to see you're having fun with it.
