Box Hill - Salomons Memorial Viewpoint - Time-lapse 2011 - 2014

Time-lapse photography, of Salomans Memorial Viewpoint at Box Hill, Surrey UK between 23rd Sept 2011 and 19th Sept 2014. This captures the restoration of the monument in Oct-Sept 2014 which also marks the 100th anniversary of Box Hill being given to the National Trust by Leopold Salomons.

This video uses a total of 1160 unique mobile phone camera shots, which I mostly took in groups of three, following an ascent of the Box Hill zig-zags on my bicycle. If you look carefully at around 1:40 you will see me posing for a shot with one of my bikes.
The last 2 minutes or so (at 2:55) are in HD (1080p) using the 'HDR+' (or bracketing) capability of the 'Nexus 5' mobile phone. The shots from this phone are stunning in clarity and detail.
