My Dog is a speed demon.....I wonder how he would do against the 'Thrust SSC. He is incredibly fast and incredibly lazy. He is snoring on the sofa right now. He told me that it was important to be well rested just in case of emergency.

after only 3 years of truly finding their sound they disbanded and left us wondering why would a band that sounds like no other with so much unique talent refuse to continue this magical journey

Warum verkauft uns der Bundeskanzler und sein Präsident für dumm und die Krankenkassen an die Forschung? Warum wollen wir eigentlich Krieg führen und dann auch noch mit Automatischen Maschinen von denen keiner weiss wer sie steuert? Warum verkauft man das deutsche Volk an die Größenwahnsinnigen reichsten Menschen diese Planeten anstatt anständige Arbeit anständig bezahlt zu bekommen. Und warum bekommt keiner mit, das es sich nicht lohnt Kinder in die Welt zu setzen wenn man schon die Armut und den Tod für sie beschlossen hat? Und warum gebt ihr solchen Leuten wie Rossmann, Merz, Höcke etc das Recht zu entscheiden wer in der Welt es wert ist zu überleben? Ist ja wie Viehmarkt am Hofe des Afels oder im Circus Maximus. Also meine Frage wäre: Wer hat zugelassen, dass ihr so dumm geworden seid? Ward ihr das vielleicht selber, bei Bratwurst und Porno in der Gartenlaube? Ist nur ne Frage. Ihr schluckt nämlich alles was man euch sagt und die Wahrheit kann keiner vertragen, weil ihr Krieger seid, denen die Unterhose voll gelaufen ist vor lauter brauner Moktutel! Thank you so much for uploading this. Years ago, someone had uploaded the full thing on TH-cam from the last time it aired on BBC, but it had a stupid watermark on it of their own channel and got taken down cause of that song and its copyright takedown. I did refind it on Wayback and while it's slightly better quality compared to this upload, this one is clean without that watermark. Thank you a ton for making it public and posting a drive link to the unedited version. It's the best doc out there on Thrust SSC but thanks to that one song taking all uploads of it down, also hard to find.

To realise that there are adults well into their mid 20's now who weren't even alive when the last land speed record was set is just astonishing. And whilst there have been other projects in the years since, there hasn't been a run from any of those projects to challenge Thrust's record in a quarter of a century. Not a single one. If that doesn't speak of the enormity for what Thrust SSC did, i don't know what does.

July/14/2023: reliving some of my most brilliant and happy moments, even to this day, hearing these songs and seeing this video as I had it on VHS back in the day. I remember when Virgin sold off the window display photos, they were huge!, of this. So beyond the times, Japan has a lot of uncredited "Thankyou's", still coming to them from other bands...just sayin' :)

the speed of sound doesnt need to be measured , it tells you with a boom , if it dont boom , its not the speed of sound , I am struggling to believe they dont understand this simple fact

they had a computer power supply that couldnt cope with temps above 100 and they knew it would be running in a desert. I have seen too many TV docs that are full of BS and this is no exception
