Wireless webcam? You probably already have one!

Here's a quick look at using an Android or Apple device as a wireless webcam with a PC. Sorry, no Mac option in this video but they do exist.
I'm using 2 apps here - though there certainly are others that also work.
iVCam by e2eSoft: www.e2esoft.co...
and their Android client: play.google.co...
They also have an iOS client: apps.apple.com...
IP Webcam (which doesn't require a PC server and IS free - my mistake): play.google.co...
While this isn't exactly mobile and PC novice stuff it also isn't all that hard.
