little fun fact. as revealed in midnight sun maria is actually still alive. the cullens ran into her while they were in calgary and it prompted them to move along again. jasper confronted her and told her to keep her distance from now on. though he also asked peter (another vampire from the army) to tell her he wished her the best should he ever see her again
I honestly feel bad for Jasper. Maria practically forced him to become a vampire against his will, made him her second-in-command, and kill all those who weren't strong enough. I never thought I'd shed a tear for Jasper... until now.
It's interesting that Jasper is a veteran and yet he has no PTSD symptoms when talking about his experiences as a veteran. He seems to have experienced healing after telling Bella his backstory.
@@jzanami3908 He actually does when Jasper loses control when he smells blood he reflects everything what happened from his past and take all that anger to whoever is making him smell the blood. None of them but jasper and Bella have bite marks. Because the bites heal when you turn. Bella having the bite is actually special as she is the only human to survive the bite
Fun fact if he was where he said he was in that battle he would have had to be a Union officer. But Meyers is ignorant of history and just assumed Texas = Confederate
If memory serves, and I'd have to go reread Breaking Dawn to make sure, but if memory serves- Bella notices his scars immediately upon awakening as a newborn, and thinks to herself something to the effect of, while human, needing light to cast them into shadow to spot them. Vampire scars are supposed to be the same color as their skin, so looking straight on, your average human isn't normally going to see them, but if you cast them under a raking light, suddenly the raised texture casts shadows and bam, now you see them. Seriously, all their back stories are better than the entire plot of the series.
It's interesting that Jasper is a veteran and yet he has no PTSD symptoms when talking about his experiences as a veteran. He seems to have experienced healing after telling Bella his backstory.
well, he is proud of what he did. He even lied about his age to get into the army. A racist army, btw
@@abrahamo90I don't know the real life story, why do you say that the army is racist?
Vampires don't have mental illnesses in the Twilight universe and any PTSD is pretty much overwritten by the immense pain of their transformations

All the characters (except Edward) in the Cullen family are more interesting than the main story and should have their own proper spinoffs.
Edward wasn't boring he was heart broken, until he was with Bella.
Jasper deserved his own prequel novel or novella in the least. More than Bree Tanner did in my opinion.
I hate that they didn’t get into Alice’s origin story.
It is mentioned in the character setting set that the cover is the one in the puzzle.
Or Emmett’s or Esme’s or Carlisle’s
@ agreed. Emmett’s story was probably my favorite from the book.
I think "New Moon" covers Alice's backstory, when Alice returns and she tells Bella, her backstory.
The world's clumsiest girl walking backwards with a vampire that has poor self control 😂
Only when Jasper smells blood.

They never write anything romantic about the union (North)

I thought he was a newbie vampire who couldn't control his thirst in the first movie???
He was new to the Cullen lifestyle of not eating humans
Newbie "vegan" vampire. He's been hunting humans for hundred years without self control. Which is why it is hard for him to do it now.
Love Jasper ❤❤ a gentleman and handsome with his Texan accent! Yum! 😊 After Edward he is the loveliest ❤
how is bella able to see jasper's scars? i thought vampire scars were supposed to be invisible to human's eyes
They were from other vampires
