No. In the book, it was Alice’s former partner/lover that turned her. James says this to Bella when they were alone in the ballet studio. He said how Edward should’ve known that the solution to their problem was to turn Bella so James wouldn’t want her anymore; this is what happened with Alice. James met Alice decades ago and decided to track her down. He even said how Alice was more “desirable” scent-wise compared to Bella. As a last resort, Alice’s partner turned her. James killed her partner before the transformation was complete as an act of revenge for depriving him of the chance to taste her.

Kinda. The power is already present as we see in this video, but it intensifies and gets more defined once you are transformed. In Jan and Alec's case, their powers were very powerful already, when they were humans, and that's why they are so lethal as vampires. (sorry for the grammar, I'm not english)
Holy cow! This is AMAZING!! Words cannot describe how blown away I am by this little short-film. Okay, fine, twist my arm, I CAN describe it, but be prepared for a monologue. ;) First off, why, why, Why couldn't the actual movies have been this good? The quality and acting in these shorts for surpasses what Hollywood actually gave us. By about several galaxies. I've always loved Aro's character, and was so disappointed by what was portrayed in the movies. This actor though...oh man, this actor I'm behind 150%! I love the way this 'humanizes' Alec and Jane. Don't get me wrong, I still love to hate them, but this also makes me sympathize with them a teeny bit too. That, right there, folks, is brilliant writing. I'm only saddened that this wasn't a feature-length movie or, better yet, a TV series. Can you imagine these shorts as a TV series?! It was be amazing!!
I love the two of them. this is so well done it’s incredible. and i like that you see them as little kids at the beginning. jane was so sweet before the world ruined her 😢
American accents in the Middle Ages.... actually, to be fair, the English they'd be speaking would sound like a foreign language to the modern viewer, so this can be taken as a simplistic "translation." Anyway, I'm addicted to these "Twilight" backstoires. The biggest enraging thing about Meyer's writing is that she keeps coming up with intriguing characters, and then shoving them into the background. Final complaint: WHY DID THIS END RIGHT BEFORE THE GOOD PART?
From what I learned apparently during Middle Ages the accent was more like the American accent before they switched to the British accent we know today 😳

Anyone else find it weird how an Anglo Saxon peasant woman sees a man with pale skin, red eyes, hair black as a raven, and dressed all in black in broad daylight and NOT react like she’s having an encounter with possibly Satan himself???
Tbh Jane was a my favorite character when she appeared! I know I shouldn’t since she was a bad guy but I was obsessed with her power and her brothers! And this background story, makes me even more love her and have pitty for her… tbh…
I find it interesting how it's against the law to change children into vampires and I'm pretty sure Jane and Alec were changed around 12 or 13 my guess is that Aro just felt this special connection with the kids he really had no choice. I'm also pretty sure Aro also saw what they were both capable of as Immortals. Just they have a super interesting backstory to me.
The two of them are really sorry for me, I've always known that they should be burned but when you see that, it's even easier to understand why they've become so. In addition, the two are my absulut favorite characters. Team Alec and Jane.
I always hated the two for getting joy out of torturing others but after learning now about their past for the first time I feel real bad for how they were treated as kids. I'm not a fan of bullies and now I understand the bad treatment they got is what made them cold hearted. I just wish they had a better childhood and grew up to be loving like the Cullens. Jane and Alec seemed really playful and looked like u could enjoy their company
Just curious. If Jane didn't have such a tragic ending before she became a vampire what do you think her special ability would be? Or what would you like it to be?
Well she had originally the power of justice (same as Alec). If you did good it rewarded you but if you did bad it punished you. (those boys here of course were punished.) So for example if there was a granny with too heavy bag. 1) You helped her get the bag home. -> you would have a good mood, sun would be shining and people would like to help you in return. 2) You kicked her in the belly, beaten her, taken her wallet and ran away with all her money. -> suddenly would be a lightning storm and your house would have burned to ash. You would get a tree falling on you to your death. Their powers worked like this. Unfortunately all the good it did people didnt associate with them. All the bad things they did. So they ended up burning which shaped this gift into the "punishments" that were individualized (Alec - escape, Jane - hurting others) I would want Jane to have the power to disintegrate people (many at once) and Alec to paralyze everyone unable to do anything (of course multiple at once).
She killed them obviously. As stated in the official guide, Jane and Alec had tremendous psychic potential, which is why Aro took an interest in them. But their powers didn’t manifest until they were burned at the stake. When that happened, Alec’s sole focus was escaping the pain, while jane attempted to inflict her pain onto the townspeople. Which is why their powers are what they are in the books.
@@bored_potato I’m guessing after they beat her up and presumed she was dead, they left her body and got lost in the forest and maybe a vicious animal came across them. Because (you might already know this) bad things happened to those who were bad to them etc. So after they beat her up something like that most likely would have happened to them
Their stories are actually some of the many reasons why I love the series. Seriously the movies are shit, but the characters and the book itself is actually not as bad as people make it seem. They made Bella look fucking useless when she did so much in the books. For those who didn't get how their powers were related to this clip, Jane got her 'fiery pain' power because while they were being burned, all she could think about was inflicting the same pain they were feeling to those who are doing that to them. Meanwhile, Alec is more drawn back and reserved than his twin, and all he thought about was for the pain to stop--which then became his 'cutting all senses' power as a vampire.
yeah, everyone who had powers as a vampire also had a much weaker version of their powers as a human. like edward couldn't read bella's mind, alice had visions of the future, benjamin could control fire, ect.
I think everything you said was only Jesper. Edward saw through people and Jesper was charismatic and got what he wanted through his superiors having change of heart etc.
perfect. but one tiny glitch though. There should have been no "young aro". Vampires are frozen at the time they are turned. Aro should have looked the same age as he faced the Cullens in the movie. Unless it was done on purpose because the original actor was unavailable
Now I understand their powers. By Jane's beating she is able to inflict pain on others while Alec's is able to steal all senses of others because of the fire that both his sister and him had endured during their execution.
The kids hurting Jane said "This might hurt a little." just like Jane says before she inflicts pain onto people.

Your right
seems like she never forgot that
I could never forget that either, no wonder Jane despise humans so

I was almost crying 😭
Now I unterstand how Jane got her powers
How? I don't understand how the getting of powers work. A certain thing happens after you get bite?
Kinda. The power is already present as we see in this video, but it intensifies and gets more defined once you are transformed. In Jan and Alec's case, their powers were very powerful already, when they were humans, and that's why they are so lethal as vampires. (sorry for the grammar, I'm not english)
Julia escriu loro are alice and others like that too?
yeah alice was like that too, so with bella
@@NguyenNhi-jq4qm yeah alice had some visions of future when she was human but when she changed it was stronger
Great job! I would like to see Caius"s story :)
oh that dude does aro good.
their bond is the cutest!!! ahh i love it🥺
Omg one of the boys said Jane's line! "This might hurt a little". Sorry, a big fan of the twins in the past and didn't know about this series.
this video is so beautiful, creative, aesthetically pleasing, it’s just amazing I’m in tears
This is my favourite short twilight story😊
This is absolutely stunning and perfect! Really amazing storytelling!
0:41 yeeaah... Totally NOT creepy.
I think this was the best from all the twilight storytellers as I was really fascinated by jane!
Really liked this short story. Did a great job on it!
Holy cow! This is AMAZING!! Words cannot describe how blown away I am by this little short-film. Okay, fine, twist my arm, I CAN describe it, but be prepared for a monologue. ;)
First off, why, why, Why couldn't the actual movies have been this good?
I love the two of them. this is so well done it’s incredible. and i like that you see them as little kids at the beginning. jane was so sweet before the world ruined her 😢
Even though the actors in these look nothing like the actual characters, they play their parts very well
American accents in the Middle Ages.... actually, to be fair, the English they'd be speaking would sound like a foreign language to the modern viewer, so this can be taken as a simplistic "translation."
Anyway, I'm addicted to these "Twilight" backstoires. The biggest enraging thing about Meyer's writing is that she keeps coming up with intriguing characters, and then shoving them into the background.
Final complaint: WHY DID THIS END RIGHT BEFORE THE GOOD PART?
From what I learned apparently during Middle Ages the accent was more like the American accent before they switched to the British accent we know today 😳
this is sooooooo goooooood
Sid Vicious is into Twilight? Oh what would Nancy think? Actually this was a good production.
Mary Kelly I'm into punk, metal but also I love a good chickflick. and actually Sid vicious was a scared boy that just got bad influenced over his years with the sex pistols... ya know... his awful crazy girlfriend who said "I love you, but I love you more when you are drugged"
Yes, I know a ton about Nancy. Poor Sid..aka John. Broke his mum's heart as well as John Lydon.. .It's so cool that these days it doesn't matter if you like to dress punk and watch chickflicks. Back in my day, you'd been crucified for just going to the movies..unless someone else was paying ; punks didn't pay for anything unless absolutely necessary. The times they are-a-changin'. Actually have changed for a very long time now. Keep in touch if you like.
( I was part of the original punk scene in NYC. People used to come up to me and ask for my autograph. They thought I was Siouxie and a bitch when I wouldn't sign anything for them because I wasn't her, lol.) Cheers!
Mary Kelly you do realise that the cops are 99.99% sure his mother killed him out of fear that her son should have to go to prison again.
His last heroine shot was enough to kill 3 grown men... and just been out of prison and almost died of an overdose that same evening he didn't have the strength to do it himself. his new girlfriend didn't want to so she asked his mother to do it. the person who also bought the drugs. .... i don't know if I should feel bad for the mother or be "angry" at her
Mary Kelly John Lydon was his only true friend in the world. the man is still heartbroken of losing the poor sod
It’s so well made. Really good job I always knew their story but seeing it like that is so much more and it’s really good. Good job for that
Young Aro is kinda hot 😐
Anonymous not him, just an actor. Vampires don't age
Daenerys Targaryen actor name Jeff riberdy
This guy did a great job playing Aro, i didnt like Michael Sheen as Aro it made him look like weak
No I guess mike was better in aro
Actualy, real Aro is hottest😉❤
this explains Alec and Jane so well
Jane looks like Saoirse Ronan
Leandro Luna you right
These vids are incredibly well done !!❤
This Aro is absolutely 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥😍
THIS IS SO WELL-MADE OMG!!
Just curious. If Jane didn't have such a tragic ending before she became a vampire what do you think her special ability would be? Or what would you like it to be?
Well she had originally the power of justice (same as Alec). If you did good it rewarded you but if you did bad it punished you. (those boys here of course were punished.)
So for example if there was a granny with too heavy bag.
So they ended up burning which shaped this gift into the "punishments" that were individualized (Alec - escape, Jane - hurting others)
I would want Jane to have the power to disintegrate people (many at once) and Alec to paralyze everyone unable to do anything (of course multiple at once).
What precisely did Jane do to those boys who hurt her...?
Gamer ExPhi She did nothing they disappeared. its possible that Alec avenged her abuse
@@Cadec247 3 years late lol, but I meant what did she specifically do that "killed" them. Morbid I know, but really just curious how the bullies died.
@@bored_potato I’m guessing after they beat her up and presumed she was dead, they left her body and got lost in the forest and maybe a vicious animal came across them. Because (you might already know this) bad things happened to those who were bad to them etc. So after they beat her up something like that most likely would have happened to them
Okay this is a masterpiece and has completely shifted my opinion of Jane and Alec
this guy made a great aro! omg!
Fantastic! Want a book about the volturi.
Wow! Amazing!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Funfact: the actor of Jane was 12 years old as she was a vampire in the last movie bout twilight
um wot? you mean the actual twlight movies? cause dakota fanning (jane) was 18 when breaking dawn p2 came out
Their stories are actually some of the many reasons why I love the series.
Jane has always been one of my favorites and now seeing her back story makes me like her more
I wish they would have focused on Alec some more but otherwise this was very well done.
So she had powers before becoming a vampire?
yeah, everyone who had powers as a vampire also had a much weaker version of their powers as a human. like edward couldn't read bella's mind, alice had visions of the future, benjamin could control fire, ect.
it says Edward was charismatic in something i read and jasper was good at knowing what you were feeling
I think everything you said was only Jesper. Edward saw through people and Jesper was charismatic and got what he wanted through his superiors having change of heart etc.
Kenzie Skye yeah in the movie she hasn't had powers before and after
@@Dark_Voice Jesper?
Now this is a book I would enjoy reading and a film I’d enjoy watching
Aro doesn't even burst into sparkles...
His hand did,it wasnt a burst.
This story is very easy to believe but at least so good... And sooooooo sad
Aro's actor was able to perfectly capture the vibe of Michael Sheen in the movies. Everyone was great in this, but he really stands out.
This was really beautifully done and I'd watch this as a TV series.
This left me wanting more. I wish it continued
I feel so bad for Jane and Alec. They shouldn’t of been treated this way, it kills me that people used to treat others this way
That ending transition in her eyes woah!
ARO was good lookin back in the day DAMN
Great storyline
now I understand why jane and alec became sadistic in movie😅
Anyway love u jane(Dakota Fanning)🥰
Wow Speechless!!!!! I Love This One !!!!!! ❤️
perfect. but one tiny glitch though. There should have been no "young aro". Vampires are frozen at the time they are turned. Aro should have looked the same age as he faced the Cullens in the movie. Unless it was done on purpose because the original actor was unavailable
PAUL JOHN VESAGAS prolly
I think this was one of the 7 fan made films and i think that Aro was suppose to be in his twenties in the books.
Yes, in the novels, aro is in his mid twenties
A CLDY Hypebeast Caius was suposed to be in his 40's , Aro in his 20's and Marcus was suposed to be 19
PAUL JOHN VESAGAS This fan made film was based on the books, not the movies.
Holy shit this is well made. It looks professional. The costumes, the effects, the acting... Just perfect
Her being bullied reminds me of ariadne dumbledore
I know the transformation takes a long time to happen but I really liked the blinking eye thing. A VERY GOOD masterpiece.
i wish Aro was in this more he's my favourite in the volturi
when aro was looking at the kids through the sheets i shit myself 😭
Goodness😄
0:58 - Freaking terrifying! Michael Sheen or not. Aro is just plain terrifying, ok?
So, did Aro met the twins and their mother when he was _thirsty?_ Because his eyes were black instead of red.
Now I understand their powers. By Jane's beating she is able to inflict pain on others while Alec's is able to steal all senses of others because of the fire that both his sister and him had endured during their execution.
