My g-g-g grandmother was Linda Lavallee. I wonder if I could be related. My grandmother always told me my g grandmother was part French Canadian and maybe part Native American. I proved French Canadian ancestry back to Isaac Paquet dit Lavallee from France but not Native American.
You know if it wasn't for the Indians in Acadia helping our Cajun Acadian Ancestors survive in the frontier we wouldn't be here. Good to hear this song way up north.
