I love you guys, but as a New Zealander I find it totally disrespectful to us and our culture to take the piss out of our Haka. Hawaii does not have a Haka, their university bastardised our Haka, what makes it worse is the bloke instructing is not even saying the correct words, he’s just making nonsense noises and sound which is the most offensive thing. We welcome people to learn a Haka but we ask that you be respectful and mindful of the culture surrounding it. To give you an idea of how offensive it is, it would be the same if we all started making videos of wearing black face like it is a funny joke.
This. I would LOVE to see these guys roll with some UFC heavyweights too. Stipe would be top of my list, but he's probably got 0 interest in that type of publicity. Feels like it should be grappling focused, so maybe Glover Teixeira?
Robert definitely did the best. I was thankful that you all gave a good effort, and was fairly respectful to the culture, even with the clowning. Good job guys!
As a kanaka maoli who has been following y’all for over a decade this was so great. I also played rugby in Aotearoa and trained with all blacks, seeing y’all do the haka was uncanny. Amazing gentleman!-mahalo for the content 🤙.
I love it when these guys get together! I really wish there were more seasons of History Channel, "Strongest Man In History". Robert killed it in the Hula followed by Eddie. Eddie was really getting into the Haka I could really feel his energy through my tv screen! Thanks for the laughs and fun guys!
@@patricklang7162 That's kind of harsh on the guy. Just to add some context here, they're not picking on him at random, everyone's only horsing around at everyone's expense. He did get 0 points in axe throwing and had the smelliest shoes this time, so it's not that they singled him out or try to be bullies. It's just, like, natural consequences
Hey Brian, I just bought some merchandise from your site. I bought a beanie and shirt with your logo.Thank you for being an awesome human being. Your heart is way bigger than your muscles. I will be wearing it in the gym as motivation when i work out. Thank you for being who you are. My friend.
What a disgrace to New Zealand Maori specially me being Maori. It's not one for the whole country. Stick to your own culture please. Don't do it if you have no idea what it means. The Pukana means they're going to eat you smh.
I'm guessing the world of Hawaiian dancing will survive this particular exhibition just fine. Seriously, great fun gents. Great sense of humor to give this a try, well done.
You 4 definitely need to make this an ongoing thing with content. Awesome to watch. Maybe a series of you 4 trying different things. eg. Dodge ball against a other team. Self Defence class, extreme off road driving/quad biking. Cooking class etc...
It was a toss up between Robert and Nick did the best job. Because nIck committed to the class. But, And it seemed he was more at peace. You guys all had a good time. And that's was nice thanks for sharing it made me laugh.and made me think that we all need to find the thing that relaxes us humans. And have fun. I could tell you guys had fun. And I need to go out and do things more often. Because life is short. This Is a difficult decision on who did the best. Nick was the correct choice. He really was focused and seemed he got into it and it I good stress reliever. When I was a kid I used to take karate 3 days a week and there were days when I looked forward to the training and it did help relieve alot of stress. The most painful thing I experienced that was challenging was the forced flexibility. When you were doing a double leg split if the teacher knew you weren't forcing the stretch good enough he would sit on your lower back for 5 minutes or maybe 10 minutes sometimes. Which is painful. But what I realized is that stretch will unlock your hips and give you alot of power and flexibility in your legs. And I kind of miss doing those types of things. If you decide you want to start you own lower body leg stretching and flexibility regime may I recommend you do alittle range of motion each time, but you have to kind of force the stretch towards the end when your body is properly warmed up. You will know because you will sweating alot your whole body will be warm and your ligaments and tendons will feel like butter which will allow you body to push it past its comfort zone which is part of the warm up you start with when your in karate plus you do all kinds of athletic activities which make it fun. Kind of like acrobatics. Like the instructor will have you do drills like one of my favorites was learning how to do the proper flying side kick. Let me explains this. So, after your done warming up and doing all your stretch ins. And this would be towards the end or the middle of class to make it fun. The teacher would take a rope long enough to go across half the width of the class room and one person would stand on the end holding a shield. The whole idea to kicking the shield is you have to get a running start and jump over the rope and perform the kick and land and kick the shield while in mid air. And some times the rope could be as high as 4ft off the ground. It it alot of fun but sometimes people got hurt because the teacher would keep raising the rope height to challenge the students to do better and break their previous record from before. But I would recommend this type of drill to anyone unless they have a few months of training in karate first. Because you can get hurt.
I love watching the masculine version of the hula. The feminine is so pretty with the lovely ladies flowing like a gentle river but the masculine is one of the sexiest ways a man can dance. Power and grace. I mean they didn't do it right because they were messing around for a video but watching it for real is pretty cool
I see a future for you gentlemen in a weekly miniseries. “Strongman Jack Ass!” And some how every episode has to include something with Nick’s shoes. This take me back to the days of 6th grade with my friends, how we we push each other into walls. Or post, “kick me” signs on each others backs. Classic middle school stuff, I love it! It would have been great if one of the hula teachers would have stopped the class and told Nick to put shoes on without him knowing you guys were in on it lol. Looking forward to more of these videos!

I know you didn’t do it to be offensive, but ignorance is not an excuse to be culturally offensive 😉
All your recent videos have been exceptional, very fun to watch. Keep up the great work!
If these 4 would ever make a video where they attend a self defense course, it would propably be the greatest thing ever to exist
True
Eddie, and Robert would end up rolling around in the parking lot.
Facts and the fact they would never need to use it 😂
this is a great idea!

I love the start and how Brian seems so out of rythm while Oberst basically has found his call in life
Lmao Brian has 2 left feet and Oberst is as good as the instructors lol. They’re all so freaking competitive, it’s hilarious
🤣🤣🤣
The fact that Brian didn't chalk up before all of this and put the mouth guard in was a shock lol
Right
lmao
Hahahaha 😂😂
And some smelling salt for the hard hula moves 😂

It was fun having y'all warm up with us! 😂 Come back any time!

Brian drinking pre-workout before this session made the video so much funnier.. he had so much energy 😂
He needed all that energy to argue with his wif- I mean Eddie
This group has such great chemistry. Loved the haka part. I wish we could see the guys perform a haka outside on a hilltop or something

Another reason why Nick is my favorite and definitely won! He stuck it out... WINNER 🥇
-10 for foot funk. You don't bring jungle rot to a room full of women
Poor Brian has to be the only guy on the planet with less rhythm than me.
Great job guys. When you 4 are together it’s just pure entertainment
As soon as I walked in for practice I said “it smells like man feet in here” lol 😂 Great watching you guys dance!
RIGHT AHAHAHAH
Love to see you all together, nick clearly did the best at the hula class
Obi did the best. If these guys had their own channel of shenanigans, it would be the greatest channel on TH-cam. Every video is pure gold
Fantastic video! Really impressed especially by Robert's dancing skills.
Nick Best is the Best! How he can hang around with the other 3 and not lose his mind is amazing.
He´s like the big brother who has the responsibility for the toddlers 😄
Yes im Maori so happy to see my culture reach that far out into the world😁 The Haka in traditionally a war dance and can also be used as a greeting
All these haters saying they being disrespectful...but thats basically how all the bros act at practice hahaha tbh
Love your stuff Brian keep up the great work

I simply cannot get enough of these four together. I could watch them do stuff all day. I was laughing at 16:52 like I was one of them.
Lol poor Nick. He always gets the shit end of the stick. Love all you guys. Such awesome chemistry together.
Sadly the shit end of the stick is what his shoes smell like
thats his role in the group

I want to see the behinds scenes when you're introducing yourselves to the class and asking if its ok to film 4 mountains trying wiggles hips
Eddie is one of the guys who don't know what embarrassment or cringe is, So he gives his 100% in everything 😂😂

These four need another TV Show! I'm imagining the top gear format exactly, but with strength challenges throughout the way.
Something about seeing 4 behemoths surrounded by tiny woman hulu dancing is pretty damn funny 😁
Hands down the best 4 strongmen . Awesome personalities . Great together

Its a super video, thank you brian.
Only Brian Shaw could convince these enormous men to try Hula dancing. They are such good sports, and the consummate professionals.
