As a young City Recreation employee back in the 70's, I knew a young man who was missing both his lower legs from climbing on a train that started moving, causing him to fall. That was bad enough, but I learned a few years later from a colleague that he had caught the boy climbing on the train the day before his accident, and had given him a lecture about the danger! We all believe we are immortal, until we prove to ourselves that we are not! Mrs. Jaw Tooth shoots a very nice video!
That guy was crazy with the bike hopping on the train. The train jerked from the slack and he could have fallen in between cars. That was pure stupid. He was lucky he didn’t fall. Great video Jawtooth. 👍👍👍❤️

Nice FLORIDA EAST COAST EMD with some cool gravel hopper cars. Jumping across that train with a bicycle was just plain STUPIDITY! REAL IDIOTS out there! Pretty little bird by the nice looking lake to. You and Jaw Tooth have some really neat videos! The CSX big boy blue locomotives are my favorite CSX locomotives. The grain cars are nicely weathered, I like that! Nice view of the ocean and the little trolley was neat as well. Keep up the great work!

Mrs. Tooth is pretty handy with the camera and there is no noticeable drop in quality when she plays Agnès Varda to your Jacques Demy. Your attitude is like, “Sorry guys, the missus happened to shoot this part.” Also, Mrs. JT is a VERY lovely woman. With her on your side, whether it’s shooting video or pointing out the local fauna, flora or bits if useful trivial information, you can’t lose. Hats off to Mrs. JT, a jack of all trades and master of them all.
Yes, I have to admit that she does pretty good. Sometimes she has the camera up to high showing too much of the sky and I tell her to pretend like she is making a painting and centerize everything. She shot a video of a tourist train in Hawaii for me but my grandkids accidently deleted that one and one she filmed of a truck stuck under a low bridge. Man, I wish I had posted those videos. She would film more for me but she works full time at the hospital and I retired. If it weren't for the pandemic we would have travelled to a few places like Wyoming and Florida. I'm still planning on going to Florida as long as it doesn't get worse down there.

Well back in 2020 there was a guy by the tracks and CWW was shunting storage cars, I told to him "You could jump past the flatcars" I meant it as a joke than later the guy left cause it was taking to long.

I can't help but wonder why Amtrak needs _two_ locomotives for just seven cars, especially in somewhere as flat as Florida, when the UK has been running express trains of 10-11 cars at 90mph, using a single locomotive, for over 60 years.

Back in 1982 I saw a teenager do that and he almost died and in all he loss both his legs and one hip he was laid up in the hospital wanting the doctors to let him die all because he got in a hurry that day it was sad
Not that defending stupidity is going to make me popular, but in America the bicycling idiot could easily have been fired for being late for work by the more-than-10 minutes that the crossing was obstructed by that train. Of course the smart decision, if you live across the tracks from work, would have been to leave early enough to allow for the train blocking the tracks, but given that he _hadn't_ left earlier there may have been a "good" reason for the decision he took. In the town near where I live, I have seen trains stationery blocking tracks for an extended period, not switching back and forth but effectively parked-up, so although there are alternative not-at-grade crossing points within a short distance, I would be surprised if there aren't a few train-crossers in town.
What was wrong with that train engineer you hold up an intersection like that what if an ambulance had to get through or fire truck if you couldn't proceed he should have just stopped before the intersection
