Pleasant. Quite amazing to see so many historical buildings being utilised yet in such well preserved condition, not covered in street art. Really clean city with a reputation for being very family orientated, nice.
Thanks! It's amazing just how many heritage buildings there are in the CBD, as well as its nearby suburbs. The ones I've included in this video are just some of the very few.
Thanks! I'm working on adding subtitles to all my videos, so people will have more contextual info about the places I'm showing here. Other videos in this channel have that. As for a preview-like intros, I've tried it and I'm still on the fence with this idea, so we'll see. Thanks for the feedback, and I hope you'll give Perth a visit.
@@AliceIn0z Of course, I'll give you a click to subscribe, after all we don't have a private contact. Can also contact you if I travel to Perth. You can also contact me when you come to Brisbane☺
Thanks Alice. We are preparing for an exploratory visit February 2023 for the purpose of a move from Southern California. Looking at many videos. This is the most attractive yet. We’re going to keep our eyes open for your work. Thanks again Gary & Rose
You might find that Perth is pretty amazing. It’s a capital city with a small town vibe with still plenty of things to do and see. It’s more laid back than the bigger cities of Melbourne and Sydney.
@@AliceIn0z We continue to enjoy your tours. Most recently Perth to Scarborough Beach. This made us wonder if it would be a good idea to hire a guide? Any ideas where to search?
@@garybrown5824 I've never tried hiring a guide to tour Perth, as it's very easy to get around (train, bus, and cars). But as a starter, do look for "Two Feet Perth" for different types of walking tours around the CBD and its adjacent neighbourhoods. There is also a hop-on/hop-off bus for sightseeing (paid), then make sure that you get on the Perth CAT bus which is FREE and has a number of routes (I think about 5) around Perth/East Perth/Leederville/Nedlands areas. These are very nice neighbourhoods and quite close to the centre. You can reach Scarborough beach by bus or train. Please check the Transperth website for the routes and make sure to download the Transperth app when you get here :). Trains are up to AU$2.49--ish only, and I'd recommend taking it going to Fremantle (port city) and Cottlesloe, both are south of Perth. In Freo, you just really need a good pair of shoes, sunnies, and SPF50 to get around since you'll be here at the height of the Aussie summer. They also have a free CAT bus that plies the centre.
@@AliceIn0z Thank you Alice. From our transpacific vantage point your channel is helpful and comforting :)! we are likely to continue our conversations with you. If we become a bit of a nuisance please say so. In the mean time We hugely appreciate your work. Thanks Gary and Rose
It's very clean city like Christchurch City, New Zealand 🇳🇿.... Very quite aswel like Christchurch. Perth, Australia and Christchurch, New Zealand are best city's in world 💯👍🙏
Hi Alice!! I have some questions related to Perth, do you mind?? St George's Anglican Cathedral is near in this neighborhood?? The Cathedral is near from Perth Train Station?? The last one... The Indian Pacific from Sydney arrives at Perth Train Station?? All the best from B.A. Argentina
Hi Rodo. Yes, the St George’s Cathedral is nearby, but on the other direction. It’s 2 blocks away from the Perth Train Station, maybe 5-10 minutes walk. The Indian Pacific arrives at East Perth station which is maybe 2-3 stations away from Perth station. I think you can take the train from East Perth to the Perth Station.
Good questions came from you Argentina person.Argentina is close to Brazil, my country. I've never been there but I have an Idol from there: Sacha Fenestraz a young driver from formula-E. "Don't cry for me Argentina" best song tribute Evita Peron.💙💙💙👣💙💙
Perth CBD empties out late afternoons on weekends, along with early closing of shopping hours. Then, nightlife starts early evening. It’s a sparsely populated city, unlike the 24/7 megacities elsewhere.

You’re lucky!
i was watching this to see what people are wearing in winter :) i'll be there next month
We’re all dressed very casually :) Wear comfy shoes/sneakers and a warm jacket, as it’s winter in Perth from June to August.
@@AliceIn0z thank you! I'm here now and i love the weather. Your walking tours helped. I feel like i know where to go
All the best Perth, all the best Australia!! Kind regards from Bs. As. Argentina

Awesome long take video. I felt like I was walking Perth CBD.
That's the idea. Thanks and enjoy! :)
Hi Gorgeous! Good channel maintenance. This enjoyable scenes! Nice patching. Uploads Cool! this is still the better one
Thank you! 😊
There are so many suburbs in this city that would make a Walking Tour video a completely different type of video.
I'm open to ideas LOL! I've a long list of other places and suburbs for walking videos and hopefully I'll be able to tick them off.
Hello 💚💚💚 great walk video in the city 🎉🎉 i like your video keeping connecting 🎉🎉!()
Thank you so much 😁
Early morning weekend walking tour of Perth CBD. One street away from the Swan River foreshore and lengthy green space.
Looks great, looks miles better than Sydney. Checking in from USA.
It does!
Although I haven't been to Perth city, the video is great. Maybe there are more introductions to attractions or famous places?

Moro no Brasil mas estou aqui em Perth. Linda cidade.
Perth é linda 💖
Good to watch, I would have definitely preferred to watch it without the music, it was too distracting. The natural sounds are quite sufficient.
Thanks for the feedback, some vids with just ambient/big sound are planned. But as this is a new channel, I’m still experimenting.

Hi Kazakhstan 👋
Looks like a very quiet Sunday in the CBD..
Shop don’t open until 11am
Sunday is a day to rest for many. Shops are generally either closed or open later and close earlier.
8:21 I work in the Ashton Chambers building?!?!
Must be a nice spot!
Perth is my dream for retirement... love from MY..
It’s a good spot for retirement. It’s a big city that has a small town vibe and is very laid back.
Hye what month was this
June 2022. Start of Winter.
👌
✌️

A big city so empty, bring in skilled immigrants
