The TAM 2IP is an Argentinian Light Tank for the German Tech Tree that pairs EXTREMELY well with the Alpha Jet A in War Thunder. The TAM 2IP has some crazy firepower for 9.0 BR. It's very fast, very stable and it's actually very survivable.
I love a good 2 vehicle combination and this one is one of the best I've played so far. Usually a good plane doesn't really have a good light tank to pair along with it. But the TAM is the best of the best light tanks at this BR meaning it's incredibly easy to scout, destroy and cap your way to a couple of planes.
This was really good fun to tag team these together along with the Gepard and even though this lineup is only 3 vehicles, there's plenty of German Tanks to fill the rest of your slots out with!

When using the tracking for AA you want your rounds to plunge into the circle and not aim at the circle, if that makes sense.

TAM 2IP is hands down of the most disgusting premiums in the game but 9.0 for Germany is so cursed and is its only downside.
Fun fact that 2nd most disgusting premium is 1 bracket lower in the same tree and that is Turm III.
2S38 is much more disgusting at 10.0 where it btw stays while PumaV goes to 11.0 and normal Puma to 10.3
surely that 30mm with 100mm pen is similar if not stronger than the now autoloader 57mm with 150-225mm pen in unmanned turret of the 2S38 that never overheats
Oh you didnt know? 2S38 does not really overheat, as in never stops firing.
Puma stops after around 30 shots. Begleit is empty after 48 rounds. Jap 35mm is empty after 35 rounds. british 20mm is overheating after 60 shots.
2S38 does not stop in overheat, just slows down and it has infinite readyrack, aka 148 shots. Unmanned. 10.0
Puma > 10.3, Puma V > 11.0(in next patch)

I find 9.0 gets alot of full downtiers but you team which will be mostly Germany will be very bad, and unless you get 10-15 kills you will lose, I have had games where I have gotten 15 kills and still lost

Something funky abt the TAM is that I love the voicelines and all, but a specific thing that bugs me is that the loader often says "penetracion de blindage cargado", which translates to "armor penetration loaded", it isn't quite linguistically correct. To me it would make more sense if instead they said "penetrador de blindage cargado", which would be "armor penetrator loaded", aka, armor piercing loaded. Hearing the voiceline as it is sorta makes it feel like TTS, I like the execution of the Spanish voicelines in the VRCC a bit better, where the loader just says "shell loaded" for example lol.
The funny thing is that the Argentine army calls APDSFS "Flecha" or arrow in Spanish... It's just that Gaijin didn't even bother researching lol, there's even live fire training videos (with voice lines) uploaded on the Army's YT channel.
@@chater910 Cuba for example also refer to darts as "flechas" or "arrows" if directly translated. But I wasn't sure wether that would be a universal thing also done in other countries so I decided against talking about something i'm not eloquent in.

Yeah, I also noticed that a while ago. Some of the translations are just wrong or sound strange for me as an Argentine. A few days ago I put the game in Spanish after playing it in English for years and I noticed a lot of the voice lines sound kinda strange. And don't even get me started on the texts such as stat cards, the random hints, and all of that. I'm pretty sure they used Google Translate for all the texts and didn't even care to at least check for errors. Kinda sucks to see that, especially for me as a native Spanish speaker and soon to be English translator :/

TAM2IP in arcade is my stress reliever
Same dude, first nuke ive ever gotten was in tam 2 ip in arcade, that thing is so OP for its battle rating, if you play it well even a full uptier is managable. Best premium ive ever bought
The TAM 2IP and the TURM III are the most INFURIATING tanks to fight. If I get killed by one, they getting revenged bombed.
Both I take great pleasure in revenge bombing however many times they spawn. I have both but only play them if I'm really hurting for SL, same with the KV-1B/E I have less than 50 games in each

If you want to try out more gun CAS, Japan 8.0 has a combo. The Forgotten R2Y2 fictional plane also got APHE belts a while back, but you never see those played out. The RCV (P) will get you into their aircraft easily

9.0 is just the perfect br bc of 10.3 - probably the best german prem tank for its br- whenever i faced the tam2op 75% of the time my apfsds would bounce off the composit- it is very trolley/effective armor

The Pzbtl kinda saved war thunder to me, I was stuck / unmotivated to keep grinding after the Tiger 2. Then a sale rolled around and I got it for like 25€.
The first premium I got after Gaijin pulled my arm with a -30% coupon. No regrets getting the tam unlike my massive regrets getting the t-72 turms lol.

PZ.III at 5.7, it’s an underrated tank
You can have the ballistic computer for the alpha for the cannon so you can shoot from further away which is nice, I use this jet in ground rb a lot
the TAM 2IP rentals are always in every other battle pass shop if you dont feel like spending the money, i hate playing against them, the "armor" is very trolly and it has an absolute railgun for a cannon

I've noticed a lot of SPAA bug out and seemingly shooting at all times. But it's clearly just a visual bug and I don't think everyone even sees the bug, so it seems to be ones own client that does something strange.
The m51 has 400mm of pen at 6.0 pls play it!
Sure when odd uses the alpha jet he Flys around over the battlefield unbothered, but when I spawn it I get 8 radar guided guns and 3 Sam's firing at me simultaneously

Mr. OddBawZ sir I have something for you to try. I've been recently playing the Japan tree and I only have top tier Planes and low tier tanks.
So when I wanted to play the japanese tanks I found something you might like, the Chi-Ha LG, a ww2 naval gun on a cart.
So obviously I did what everyone would do and put my F-16J on my lineup with that tank.
On the first game I killed an Abrams. And I'm not good, so I thought it would be fun to see someone who's better at Ground RB than I am try it and I would love to see it.

I'm pretty sure I remember the Tam2IP *having* thermal sights. But it was removed after a while if I remember right.

This just solidifies how easy it is to get a op plane into ground battles by abusing the scout mechanic. It’s why you’ll see a ton of cas players only playing op tanks or light tanks around the br of their planes.

Hearing it called "perforación de blindaje" instead of just "perforante" or "municion perforante" is jarring, especially cuz they didn't even bother giving it the propper gender. "Municion perforante cargada" is what the TAM tank crew members should say

Yea that's the calculated trajectory, however it doesn't predict their change in velocity I don't think - So leading the circle is valid if you know that they're accelerating, or letting it escape a bit if you know they're slowing down. (usually relevant for ascending or descending targets)

Usual viewer here, I have a simple question... Why don't i see the B-29 super fortress (Nuke) anymore? i used to see it as an option at the start of every RB match pointed at 2.5k points. It has disappeared though. Does it just come back when I'm near the 2.5k threshold? Feel free to answer or not everyone!
