It was Godtfred Christiansen who came up with the idea of Legoland. He was the son of LEGO’s founder Ole Kirk Christiansen and after his dad died, he was left in charge of the company. When the modelling department at the factory became too crowded, he decided to build a theme park that would display all the LEGO models for the public
