Love how she’s communicating all the time and is nice and courteous to everyone but also super fast and precise. Coolest rider in your ’stable’ by far...
It's really cool to see another female cyclist weaving in and out of traffic! I feel a bit more inspired to bike around the city right after watching this video. All the while I know I'll be thinking, "I want to be like Ana!" Great video Terry !!
Great video. Ana rides like my girlfriend, polite and courteous to those around her, but slams the pedals and has great pace when the road clears up... She could easily outpace me. Thanks for the tour of Mexico City. The mic on the rider works so well with Ana. Really makes me feel like Im going for the ride with her.
New to the channel (so haven't seen everyone yet), but so far Ana is the best 'pure' cyclist by far. Legs like pistons, doesn't ever get winded despite setting a brutal pace, and has the best attitude. Chapeau, senorita.
i love your riding style , you have inspired me to ride faster stronger and with more flow, i turned 53 this week, watching you has helped me massively, i'm passing younger guys in my riding club and i,m putting grace into my movements and rythym to my cranking and i,m loving it. Thanks again stay safe, only problem is now i want a cinelli.
It's fun just watching her speed through Mexico city- her fast pace and endurance is amazing. Love her interaction through whistles and calls. I have always wanted to go to Mexico city, this definitely cements that in my bucket list, to ride there would like a dream. It would be awesome to find Ana and ride with her!
I am someone who came from a lifetime of Fitness and discovered the joy the absolute joy cycling in later life.as a Muscular "Old School" guy who cycles 8000-10,000K recreationally each year , fixies and the culture has always been seen IN MY Perspective as POSERS..yet Ana has made a believer out of me. I run into, (go fast for 2-3 kilometres, then burn out fixie boys all the time) I also have lived all over the world and the skill and freedom that this Latina, Ana exhibits is spectacular..She has more courage and skill than 99% out there. I want my daughter to emulate her freedom!!
The film was so smooth I thought it was a drone following Ana for the first few minutes. Such a beautiful city, I was sad to see the video end. Your videos are great because it breaks the perception of certain cities and cultures that people have when they see them through the eyes of a cyclist who can actually ride at a pace where you can see the small details most people miss when riding in a car. Keep up the beautiful work. Subscribed!
OMg...I truly envy her stamina and will.... I remember as a child feeling terrified of Mexico city's traffic and cars!..... the people are also not very good at driving, they are pushy and I would not trust myself among all those cars. She's awesome and her attitude and grace comes off screen......love this video..... watched it twice
I've watched a ton of your videos. To be able to experience all of these locations from the perspective of a cyclist is one of the best things about the internet. Just wanted to say thanks. The absence of music makes it so much richer.
I'm usually pissed by videos with fixies showing off. But there is such grace and great mood in that one that I can't help but to smile the entire video. =)
Brought back lots of good memories of rides and the sites around your lovely city - and you made me smile with some lovely comments like 'don't forget the potholes' and 'those red buses...'. Chapeau for doing it all on a fixie... As for you Terry - my heart was in my mouth, every time Anna jumped a red....
wow that's impressive courage to ride through traffic like this. I feel totally chicken now that I see these videos. respect to her for her amazing riding skills. I am feeling so much more inspired to hop on my bike and for my laziness to actually pass bike riding licence to be complete on my humble daily routes
I like her accent when she says "perrito" at the beginning. She's like a ninja but on a bike!---When I am in Mexico City I am afraid of being a passenger in a car because people drive crazy...can believe she rides like this in traffic...she is just awesome!
Awesome work! Keep it up! Great smooth shooting with the helmet cam. And tops for micing her. You can hear her efforts from the tires through her pedal stokes. The little comments and gestures make me feel that I'm sitting on her wheel and not you. :)
Wow. Watching Torre Latino get closer and closer and then all of a sudden you’re at Belles Artes 🖤🖤🖤 I miss it so much. Also you guys are freaking insane how fast you go zipping through traffic holy crap
I'd hate to be the person who has to follow and film. Chick is crazy! I'd crap my pants weaving in and out of traffic like that... Very inspiring. Keep it up.👍🏼
She would be dead in the first week in the US. Cars here don't move when you push on them and whistle at them. They run over you. And there are no "bike lanes'.
@@BrisLS1 This is true. I understand that this video is to show her skill but when I moved to Mexico City, I was so pleased to be able to have my own lane most places I wanted to go. It's very dangerous to ride in the US, drivers are so entitled.
@@BrisLS1 really there are no bike lanes? every city in america begs to differ. and no they don't run you over people generally don't want to go to jail.
Great video. I come back to it all the time. It's cathartic and in my head, though not out loud, I think, "this is the ultimate in cycling porn." I love this video. The moments when she's weaving through the traffic lanes is better than any kind of movie drama I can think of.
She's adorable, got skillz and pretty polite. No skidz, just backpedaling and hop stops. Monster legs. Going in that tunnel with no lights was a bit sketch though.
Ana!, que estado fisico que tienes y que gran coraje y calculo para pasar entre los veículos a esa velocidad. Bien filmado. Pregunta la bici que conduces es con piñón fijo? Saludos. Roberto-Córdoba-Argentina
From the understanding that you mean Garmin as in a device, I know that software like Garmin Virb Edit can overlay the speed, elevation, etc. As long as you have a .GPX file with such data (Which Strava generates even if recorded using a Smartphone).
Just found these videos, something great to binge watch, planning on getting a single speed for when i go to University so i can go mob around Liverpool, should be interesting!
Sabia que las bicicletas de ruta eran más rápidas que las mtb pero no me imaginé que a tal grado de poder ir al paso de los carros, pasar por los baches es doloroso ? Agradezco la suspensión de la mtb pero la velocidad :/ deja que desear..

That whistle prevented so many accidents that it deserves a Nobel Peace Prize

Damn, the sound coming from that bike is so satisfying!
Putting mic on Ana = brilliant idea!!! Since now, seems like a must with your every upload!! Awesome ride & "subject" :) Thank you!!!!

I need to film with more women!
Terry Barentsen Yeah defo it will be cool
Now I'm cycling my fixie in Mexico City, great video!
I like how she gets into a place in 10 minutes while these cars probably need an hour due the traffic.
Nothing faster than a bike in London.

Cool ride, beautiful city! Ms. Puga a messenger rider or just cycling and enjoying the city? Fixie bike?
She lives and works in the city where she only moves by bike only, both for pleasure and as a form of transportation
how do you get such great sound? Does she have a mic on?
Yeah
