At the age of just 18, penning such a deep deep-meaning ode - just unimaginable. What a genius & intellect Sahir Ludhianvi was. Ajay Sahaab, Rajesh Singh & Gyanita Dwivedi have done a great job by paying tribute to Sahir.

The lady performed better but was given a very brief interlude which left quite a few yearning for more.
She performed definitely better... But what is worth listening is the lyrics
The nazaam is about how Sahirji felt for his lady love and so presenting it in male voice would make more sense. More authentic. Of course the lady’s performance was excellent but if the whole song was presented by her, imho, it would have lost the effectiveness.
You must be new and have not watched them much. she is not the main person it is Rajesh ji. Also, if you've watched other performances, you will notice that she often mispronounces Urdu words.
The lady has held the mic quite close to her lips. This has made her voice less sharp. I liked the male singer more.
The lady performed wonderful-I was yearning to listen more from her-she is very good looking also. No Justice in this world:-

I was never in doubt about Sahir's poetic prowess, but after knowing that he wrote this masterpiece at the age of 18, my admiration for him grew many fold.
