    That wind looked wicked! I see you had a lift you save your backs and shoulders . Thank God! It's looking very nice , love all the little hands helping.

    And I thought our winds were bad! Must sounds like a freight train. I really liked the 360 degree shot of the kitchen/living space. Thanks for sharing I know how much extra work it is, but it's very inspirational to many people.

    I consider you one of the most hard working women on TH-cam - maybe not the most skilled but what you do is massive compared to the others. I have done some of this kind of work and your beginnings to what is your current skill has blown away all of my ideas of my own ability. Not detracting from the others there but WOW you can shame a lot of men I have known for putting your head down and attacking whatever comes at you. Keep on and I'll be here.

    My wife and I are planning to start our Strawbale House in about a year from now here in Kentucky. Your channel has been extremely helpful and the most complete build I have found on TH-cam. I appreciate that you have taken the time to record and share your journey. I think its beautiful so far. Best wishes on the rest of your Journey. You have a lovely Family!

    Great work! But, maybe don't have music continuously playing?

      I agree, had to keep it muted the whole time. Music is very annoying.

    Very interesting! Since straw molds when it gets wet, how did you prevent it from molding since it was sprayed with the hose? Love how your family all works so hard together! Wonderful family values 😊

    NIce house and nice content, really nice to see so much effort from the whole family.
    I was wondering about hardness of those walls. Are those walls solid enough to hold, for example a hanging kitchen cabinets ? Looking at those straws it seems like they are too soft to use screws for example.

      thank you. we will see very soon as we will be attempting to hang kitchen cabinets and other shelves in the pantry

    I like the kitchen layout. About what size is it? Also, it looks like the wire mesh is very close to the door jamb, will the plaster be touching the jamb?

    • @buildingroots5873
      @buildingroots5873  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      id say its roughly 16x18'. yes it close to the jamb and plaster will be touching this.. this is one area we were and still are unsure of how it will all work. we didn't how else to finish this area.
