      I watched probably 5 OP-Z reviews & first look videos over the course of a few weeks but never decided to buy. 10 minutes into his 1.5 hour long OP-Z overview video I found myself on my laptop hitting the buy button on the teenage.engineering web store for an OP-Z.

    EDIT: Actually, now that I think about it. It's more complicated since youre probably not sitting right above the camera. But off to the side and then it become much more difficult to calculus the lengths with angles and such😅

    Would that possible?

    • @truecuckoo
      @truecuckoo  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yeah I think you’ll need an adapter of sorts. The headphones jack I believe is one of those three channel jacks, the stuff you’d see on a headset with a microphone. Stereo out, mono in. So you’d need a sort of adapter for getting a mono jack input. I haven’t tried this myself, but I believe there are solutions for it. Perhaps iRig would be a solution? I think it’s in the online documentation.

      It’s a class compliant audio interface. No drivers needed. As long as the device supports that, it should at least in theory work. I don’t know if modern Android devices generally supports class compliant audio interfaces?

    beautifully done cuckoo, is the piano sampled into a synth track?

      Thanks! 🙏🏼 No the piano is also on a kit track. One sample per key, kinda short samples. For more percussive kind of snappy piano sounds, it's really nice to do it that way. For long sustained sounds, it'd be better with a synth track probably.
