Hiking the Hadrian's Wall Path

In late March 2024 my brother Lewis and I hiked the Hadrian's Wall Path in Northern England. Setting off from Bowness-on-Solway we hiked and wild camped for five days across the country until we reached our goal and endpoint, Wallsend in Newcastle - 84 miles to the East. On the way we met many wonderful people who thought we were a little insane to be wild camping in the bitterly cold March nights. The scenery was spectacular and walking in the Spring was particularly fascinating.
We could not have achieved this without our support crew Derek and Jackie, who along with their two hounds provided great evening company and above and beyond hospitality.
I learnt many lessons on this mission and have many fond memories spending valuable time with my brother, who I enviously discovered is extremely fit.
