ASI are such idiots. Why does every dealer need his own app. I just want to finally programm my controller with a simple app... ASI makes everything very complicated when it comes to changing parameters. I'd really hope the would finally change their mind. I'm also hoping for another controller manufacture to take over if ASI isn't changing.
Thanks for the great vid! We didn’t succeed reading the speed in the app. Maybe the wiring is not correct? Have Asi bac 855, do you know where to wire the speed wire? What color it is? Thank you
Bought a second hand bac8000.tried connecting to the app and it says not tuned by emb.what do i have to do to get it compatible with your guys app?
Only controllers purchased from us work with our app.

Please help me, i receive popup " this controller doesn't appear to be tuned by EMB when i connect to my BAC2000 controller. click "OK" it force close app immediatly

Just bought your bac4000, when I install the bac, can I ride it? Is it plug and play? Or do you guys have preset tunes for noobs like me?
It comes with a base tune, that being said, you still will need to setup your desired power and speed settings. All of that is outlined in the installation video.

We plan to develop a tune for the talaria with our current kit and the same app will be used.
@@emotobros can you remote tune your Sur Ron kit or will it have to be totally different controller? Obviously the harness would have to be different.
Hi, I have asi bac 855 and I'm trying to change from 52v to 72v battery. Can I use this app as the controller was brought preset to my bike and never been able to contact the seller.
No updates on the battery you guys are coming out with?
Latest is that we had a sizing issue and are re-working them before sending them out. We’ve had a couple beta testers and so far so good 👌🏽 we don’t want to release anything until it’s exactly what we want.

@@ballinboy0911 Yeah we don't usually like to set anything in stone but maybe within the next month we will have a video on it that'll be the release. Unfortunately our supply isn't that large either so they'll go quick I'd imagine.

Thanks for making this video, it is super helpful as I am shopping around for different controller dealers. One question I have. You say this updates to your tune, what KW is your tune set at? I understand the stock bypassed battery caps out at 8kw where I see a lot of people running 10-12kw on aftermarket batteries. Is this something I can change on the fly in your app?
Hello, when we say it updates the controller, we just mean any changes we make to the base tune gets pushed through to the old controllers that didn't ship with the latest version. Think of the tune as the base software that makes the controller work with the motor and it should be thought of completely independantly of the power. For example, with our 'tune' and our app, you could run 1kW or you could run 20kW, just depends what you set it to. You can very easily change it only the fly depending on the limitations of the battery you are using.

I have the ebmx app on my bike atm but there I need to constantly refresh the screen to update the 'live' motor temp. Can I just use your app to check my temps without changing my other settings?
Not too sure! Generally the tune has to be setup a specific way to use our app but you could give it a shot 🤘🏽

I did not select a tune when I ordered my BAC4000. I will initially be using a bypassed stock 60v battery - Am I correct in that I must use the emoto bros app to set the default tune when my bike turns on, rather than set it in the Eggrider app? Cheers!
(I'm thinking that the controller settings made in the emoto bros app take precedent over the eggrider settings, or is the other way around?)
Assuming you are using a 60V battery. You just need to setup the EggRider. The EggRider will overwrite the settings.
I don’t have EMB controller or eggrider… but I do have access to my 8000 parameters… will this work for my bike?
Hey there, you’re welcome to try! Typically it needs to be tuned by us as there are certain parameters it is looking for.
@@emotobros def doesn’t work. Keeps telling me not a EMB tune… shame. You could make some coin out there charging non emb bacs a few bucks to try the app. Leaving money on the table. ;)
@@eleon1143 Wish it were up to us! Doing this was SPECIFICALLY at the request of ASI unfortunately.
Does it get info from egg rider via Bluetooth?
The app communicates directly with the controller 🤘🏽
@@emotobros oh wow. So no need for egg rider then. But it uses Bluetooth though?
@@jimlahey5354 The EggRider is still used for power control and speed control and as a display. This app is just supplementary features on top of what the EggRider offers.
