Chris Bond fighting your way up floor after floor that had been copy pasted only to reach the top and die because you started going the wrong way along the platform as the prison sunk at the end.
I remember going down to the lowest floor to see what was down there, and all that was there on the way was a fucking tent, a nametag, and some dude to play cards with. Had to reclimb all of the stairs again smh

This theme is underrated, it is very epic and really portrays a dark mood very well. The bass coupled with the piano plays on a loop in my head now lol. You did a really good job with this remake because usually remakes are worse than the original but here i can say that it lives up to the quality of the original

Why does this song have the same feeling as Bombing Mission? Seriously, if you played the opening of FFVII but with this instead of Bombing Mission it would feel the exact same.

I prefer the original to be honest!
Everything is this version is weaker. None of the snappy "BANG" orchestra hit bits "hit" very hard.
Didn't see much difference from the original.
Boosted instrument quality and not as much of a twangy (for lack of a better term) sound on the piano part, both things I like.
+Danniel Thats a good thing, i mean, i spent hours trying to figure out every sound used in the original song and trying to replicate it as truthful to the original as possible. That hit that plays once in a while was a pain to find! Try playing both songs side by side and you will notice a significant difference in sound quality, it's realistic sample based VST instruments versus the psx sound engine.
+BitSymphony what do you call said "hit" noise? That metallic clang that hits every once and a while, usually when the riff comes back in on the lower notes. I've noticed that noise in this song, one of the "running songs" from ff8 and it's also featured in a lot of Goldeneye n64 music, I've been looking for quite a while now for the name of that type of sound effect. Can you clue me in?
