I’ve ran against Roman a few times over the last few years as I’m in SoCal and go North occasionally, he’s a fun one to watch! I was wondering where he would end up, excited to watch him keep going!
Ive competed against Roman a few times in Cali. My favorite memory of him was I was sitting on a check and he was the last horse of the race to go. He not only won the race, but broke the arena record, and I was pushed off my check. Also watched him set a few arena records! Definitely one badass horse!

I went to a barrel race today and I ran on my 16.1 gelding then on my 14.1 mare. It’s so weird to get off such a huge horse then onto a little moody mare. It just feels like you are getting off a ladder then stepping onto a step stool.

How do you make the the decision to geld a horse ? Their training progress etc.
You just have to either want a gelding or a stallion and/or if it's for safety or medical reasons then you also can do it for a horse 🐴 don't just do it just because you think you need to all horses have different breeding and routines age types ect. you have to know your 🐎 horse 🤍 and what they really need Good Luck 👍
