Beautiful, haunting stuff. This suite usually triggers in Colorado Springs, Denver, and Maker's End. I'm currently compiling an archive of the in-game music, I'll send you a link whenever I get it up (it'll probably be awhile, there's so much content to organize). How do you extract the audio? I'm currently pulling it out in wavs from recorded videos on my PS4.
Thank You! I remember your comment from my original video... you seem to know this in-game music very well. This suite was recorded on PC with OBS Studio (256kbps AAC). So it has way better quality than my previous recording from a console. I'll gladly share my audio files if you need them :)
@@Amsztel I spent spring break replaying the game with the sfx off, trying to soak up as much music as possible. I was inspired to do it while wandering around Sunfall and triggering a random piece of eerie sci-fi music I'd never heard before. Eventually I started to recognize where specific pieces would always play, and to try and trigger new versions by engaging in combat, running away, letting it reset. I discovered resetting loads at campfires was another way to randomize the music load out. The hardest to get was 'this new wilderness' suite, though eventually the game gave up a nice section near telluride. Unfortunately the sound quality is just OK/youtube level, hopefully someone will eventually rip the PC files in sweet FLAC. I'd love to check out your collection! I have around 6 hours of variations and stems, once I finish organizing them and collect a few more cut-scene pieces, I'll put my stuff up on youtube.
Have you found any flute atems without other instrumentation? I'd like to get the one that plays at the climax of the night suite. The game mixed a sample of it over one of the ambient passages in this set. Anyway, I sent you an email.
@@Amsztel part one is finished: th-cam.com/video/O1nXm9OFZZg/w-d-xo.html -- PS4 did OK with sound quality, though the tracks were pretty low in comparison to the other sound f/x, requiring considerable gain adjustments.
Fantastic soundtrack. If you like this sort of ambient but full bodied music, you might also like the equally amazing ambient soundtrack for Fallout 4, by the composer Inon Zur...
I love the ambient music in Hzd but when ever you kill a machine they play that stealth dramatic music which ruins the game. I mean its just a Strider fgs lol. So now I turned off the music and just enjoy the nature sounds while playing instead.
Hoping that the uploader reads this, some of us are looking for th-cam.com/video/Qh7ICKRgFW8/w-d-xo.html this song that you uploaded in previous video, but can't find it anywhere (in higher quality). For some reason the one recorded in that video doesn't sound right. Thank you for your uploads, your video was the only one that features this one and it's my favorite in the game.
Some variation of this tune will definitely be on my next and probably last compilation from horizon. I can promise you that, I love this tune so much... PS. You can't find it probably because - like I said earlier - it's not in original soundtrack, like most of music in my compilations... and it takes A TON of time to hunt those tunes down in an open world game like this. Most people don't do that.
@@neocodexx It's part of a 20+ minute suite of music that plays in the western half of the game. The music is iterative to some extent, so different elements will play (or not play) when the suite is activated. I have 5 or 6 sets of this suite and have never heard that particular version. The game glitched on me last night and the various stems began to clash/play out of rhythm, I recorded a few minutes of it for the amusement of it.
Probably I'm going to record more of in-game music vids. I hope you like this one guys!
Can i play with you?
My nickname on PS is Passofelpato2
This is just beautiful ❤️
Could you also do it for Frozen Wilds? :)
This game was and is perfect!! ❤
I love this game

Hey amsztel are you gonna play cold war zombies when it comes out?
Yep. Let's hope new Black Ops will be way better than BO4...
@@Amsztel It definitely will, too bad they had to rush it though

You still play bo3 zombies by chance? We should play together sometime!
