I heard Roland singing different songs before. He got that kind of voice naturally. We'll hear him again next round on AGT. Roland can sing even Aerosmith songs and even Freddie Mercury. Stay tuned!

You are right,Mr Harris, there is something about Roland that makes one listen to him over and over again. It's the feeling I suppose that he gives to his own version of a song. I for one gets to better understand the meaning and feeling of a song with his rendition though I have heard and like those songs way back when they were a hit.

Whenever there’s a new one and hearing for the first time, obviously there’s an element of surprise. But with him aside from the god given talent, he has a great voice but the soul & power in his voice is evident. He’s not a trained singer. He’s a raw talent . But he’s got a lot of weapons. Most of the time technicalities is nothing if u sing from the heart

Roland hasn't undergone voice lessons. It's merely a God-given talent.

I normally don't watch AGT but happened to ran into TH-cam and saw this Filipino young man auditioning in AGT. He seems all over TH-cam as AGT contestant buzzing how good this Filipino contestant is. I never heard of him. So I watched him and what the reactions from many channels. Thank you for your channel supporting our artists. América is great for these artists for welcoming them in audition.
Wow!! Impressive!! Amazing bravado raspy soulful, grit voice, have so much control and could blend a power ballad song a big song to tackle in a stellar performance for not such a big young man. I bet he can cover Steven Tyler, ACDC, James Brown, Janis Joplin, Tina Turner with that voice. He has no professional vocal couch but did an amazing performance. At the beginning he was so nervous, emotional but once he started he sure did own the stage and the crowds. I even cried watching him getting emotional and nervous. I would be too. Even Simon reaction was surprised. A standing ovation. Haha!! I'd been watching him from different channels and listening his auditioned performance over and over. Funny, I even listen to his audition while wining down to sleep lol!!
He is also such a humble young man. He was very gentleman assuring Heidi getting back on steps carefully. Great job!! Praying you go all the way to the final. Thank you for showing this video. Loving it. Sure this boy can sing, very hard working young man, fisherman in the morning and delivery man in the evening. What a tough job. So much respect for you young man given English is your 3rd language but sing that English song fluently. You able to be on that stage with millions of viewers Such a humble young man. if you're poor in the Phil., you can hold a microphone only in somebody elses party or houses and fisherman in the Phil is not like ones in the US, they are poor. Simon rolls his eyes when he said he sings in video/karaoke, he should imagine now if he had voice lessons, how he rendered that song.
