      I can’t believe Waltman doesn’t remember how he got the name Syxx. Wrestling was their entire lives. Nothing else to remember but wresting stories. The fans all know Waltman was named Syxx because he was the Sixth member of the nWo and someone recommended to Bischoff to spell it like Nikki Syxx from Motley Crue. 1+2+3=6. Hahahaha. Cmon Sean!

Which is really rare nowadays in the position hes in. He is. I met him in Orlando at a TNA event. And before you entered the stage area there was an area where the wrestlers pulled into the arena and you could frequently see multiple of them. He came up to a group of us. Talked to each person there, signed autographs and was just generally awesome. Most would just acknowledge the people but he came over and had no problem mingling. He seems to be in a position where he radiates positivity and is really living with a new sense of life. Good for him, I would love to see him make a film with DDP on drug rehab. He isn't painting a pretty picture of hey, attend rehab and you'll get clean. He lets people know it aint a easy ride but there are ways to do it and look at me, I've been clean, relapsed etc but I'm now CLEAN.

    As a "recovering addict" (7 years clean off pills after a 15 year bout with addiction) I will say this:
    I'm SO glad I didn't get the "perma-twitch".
    I'm SO fucking proud of you, Pac (the OG Pac), for beating your demons.
    I did it on my own without suboxone or any other medical help 7 years ago... the experience of getting clean and the pain I went through are MORE than enough to keep me that way...
    And your story was the biggest inspiration to get me that way.
    Thank you.

    Why does X Pac continue to be so divisive with people? Everytime I've seen him in interviews or appearances he is the most humble ,gentle and unfortunately fragile of individuals.

    • @dn22pkkdd476
      @dn22pkkdd476 3 ปีที่แล้ว +13

      I've never met you, never will meet you, but as someone also going through a struggle with addiction, some words I think you need to hear.
      1. Get started now. Don't wait till tomorrow, your resolve will have wavered by then. Start taking steps to get a handle on it as soon as possible.
      2. Understand it will almost certainly get worse before it gets better. The cravings and urges to relapse can sometimes be worse than the initial incident that caused you to choose to chase sobriety. Your mind will try to trick you, belittle you, hurt you, depress you. Your body will cause you to shake and shiver at the loss of its next hit.
      3. Understand that while some can do this on their own, and some can "white knuckle" force their way through any rough patches, it's not always possible or recommended everyone to do this. This is okay, and not something to be ashamed of. Get help, build a support system of people you trust, go to rehab if you have to, go to meetings, create an engaging new hobby to keep your hands/mind busy, learn new things. There will be times you will be required to conquer any urges or cravings through a strengthened willpower, but this comes over time and slowly getting yourself to that point. Don't rush it.
      Good luck

    I met X-Pac here in Australia a couple of years ago - he's an absolute legend in real life. Such a lovely guy and it's so good to see him doing so well. Always been a big fan if you ever read this X-Pac!

    I got to say I loved it when he said he was able to take his meds responsibly and not fall back because he was just over, its hard I have been there and reached that point myself. It is a true inner strength and was just a week ago someone asked me how i kicked and stay healthy and my response was the same I was over it. I knew how i wanted to live and what i needed to do to be at that point and thinking bout it now just brings inner peace. Recently had back surgery they gave me a bottle i took about half and the rest went back to the doctors for disposal without even a second thought. btw love this guy year ago i bought 5 of his Sixx Ball NWO shirt just so I would have extras when they wore out.

    There was a period there from when Triple H got injured in late 1998 until the DX reunion in late 1999 where X-Pac was just killing it. Awesome matches, won the Euro and Tag titles and had the occasional main event match. He has real talent.

    PS I always saw Xpac heat as genius.. even though wrestling is 'scripted', people never got over his turn on Kane and the heel character be portrayed, they attached it to him as a human, psychologically speaking they just no longer liked him. Even down to his run with X-Factor etc. Basically he was such a great heel and unliked due to story progression, peoples subconsious attached his character to him and became a genuine dislike. Blessing as it shows his talent, a curse that people couldn't differentiate.
