- Paint a super simple doodled sea watercolour with me! In this project, I'm playing with seaside colours in undulating stripes, enjoying the colour mixing to create a range of blues and greens, with some unexpected pinks thrown in too! Then I add simple patterns over the top. Why not play around with pattern ideas in each section, and try this in your own choice of colours too. This project will help you with brush control, colour mixing and is a perfect calming activity.
This project is part of my season of art tutorials themed around the shoreline. These projects are for personal use only. Please do not sell any work copied exactly from my tutorials (though taking inspiration and developing it your own way is always encouraged!) and please credit me if you post work online that you've made from following a tutorial or using my downloadable line work.

Just beautiful! How did you know that the pink was going to work?
I didn't really, just experimenting! But the pink I used is very soft so I sort of knew it wouldn't be overwhelming!
