I’ve watched this religiously. I love this to pieces. The fact that Gabriel and the rest of the Archangels could recognise Crowley and just hides it is really exciting. Imagine Crowley and Gabriel being left in a room together after Gabriel falls, and Crowley just watches Gabriel intently with hateful eyes “so,” he takes his glasses off “did it hurt?” Gabriel goes to answer but Crowley interrupts with “I don’t mean the fall. I mean the betrayal of your own kind for a silly little thing”
I love this so much. Just imagine Gabriel’s face when Crowley tells him that and the memories of pushing(according to the animatic) Raphael off the edge of Heaven flash into his mind. And he would just sit there, stare at the floor and be ashamed. I wonder what silly little thing Gabe could fall for, but boy, do I want to see a fanfic come out of this!

I always loved imagining Crowley as a Fallen Archangel, and thought about how cool it would be if, say, Aziraphale found out but none of the other angels knew, they only recognized a brief glimpse of great power. Like the ability to stop time, perhaps?

Crowley helping humans in the background is so sweet, it's something I could see him do. He was shocked to find out even children were going to die when the Great Flood was about to happen.
This is so beautiful. I love that we started out with the painting and turning from it and at the end they looked at it together. I love how Crowley helped humanity even as a demon. Really shows how he was different, how he never really lost himself. The other Archangels pushing him off was heartbreaking, god, the look on his face! I also loved how Crowley and Aziraphale started falling off the cliff, but rose instead, flying. Really really good animatic. I adore it. Good job!
You managed to really expand on Crowley's characterization and add so much depth. The way you transition between shots and time everything so well to the music gives this an incredibly poetic feeling. You managed to tell centuries of stories in 3 minutes and it's really incredible. Brought tears to my eyes.
I came back to this to briefly alleviate the post-s2 blues and fell harder in love with this headcanon especially with the all the archangel hints dropped
