are you completely sure about that? Kayo had never been too open with emotions, except for those couple scenes throughout Erased. Maybe she is, maybe she isn't. Hopefully, if there is a season 2 some light will be shed upon that certain subject.

+horohorosrin The anime is more about the suspense of how the events will unfold and not a mystery anime in which you find who the murderer is. The murderer is blatantly obvious since episode 3 (I think that's the episode)

Normally to reveal the killer in the third episode of the season of a 12 episode series is stupid, thinking about it. Common sense tells you "It's too early, it can't be that person." And you move on and pass it off as a red herring. I did. As you go though, without seeing anymore suspects, another common sense butts in and says "There's no one else! It has to be that person!" And the two common senses start to argue, never really reaching a conclusion. That's how I see it at least.
Theishter - Anime on Piano I got a lot of Higurashi vibes from it, so I was kind of trying to "solve" it like a murder mystery. I wonder if the ease at which it could be overthought is intentional.

So basically after this Satoru changes into a ghoul and wants to eat some KFC, but he can't so he goes into 'oshiete' mode and breaks the glass of the neighbours then Kayo comes and plays the triangle and she accidently throws the stick of the triangle in the sea so they swim and they are able to breath under water and talk to the dolphins about the mean sharks so they fight the sharks and then the sea is peaceful and they live happily after after
I think if the revival aspect was explained, even just a little bit, and if the killer wasn't so obvious, (maybe by adding a larger amount of characters to suspect), then this would be one of the best mystery anime of all time. (imo)
What kinda annoys me about the anime is that they intentionally change the culprit's eyes to a brown-ish red instead of the vibrant red like they're supposed to be so we can't know instantly. What's that? The culprit uses contact lenses? How? In some scenes the eye color changes instantly from dark to vibrant. But as you can probably tell from my avatar, Erased is one of my favorite anime. Ever.
Having read the manga after having seen the anime, makes me appreciate the effort that went into making the anime even more. It's a great anime and an amazing manga.

This is such a beautiful song. The moment i heard it I sat down and started to teach myself how to play it. I'd say my adaptation is pretty good but it is nowhere near as... "Theishter-y" as this one. Thank you for the 4 and a half minutes of good sounds.
