There’s nothing I hate more than playing DPS and having a Mercy that just heals the tanks and doesn’t help the DPS at all. Mercy is literally meant for pocketing DPS 🤦🏻♂️

@@post-lobotomy But there job is to mainly heal the Tanks. If you don't have a Tank, your team will get wiped. Your DPS should primarily focus on self preservation by winning shootouts, finding health packs in the map, and helping with objectives. There are only a few moments where the healer can heal up the Dps/Squishies.
1. If the tanks are at full and are using a means to protect themselves (Shields like Rein, Orisa, and Sigma)
2. After winning a fight to get your team prepared for another wave of the enemy team.
3. If your DPS is trying to help you claim the objective and is staying close to the tank for protection and allowing easy heal swaps.
But that's just how I play a healer, and it seems to be working just fine for me. But, if your playstyle is to give all around heals, I won't say otherwise. That's why Heroes like Moira and Lucio exist, both having AoE heals.

That speed boost and group hugs help out the team when pushing up and checking the enemies every move while Baps long ranged heals allow me to protect and heal when idiot teammates push up for no reason

Any tips for solo queue climbing? I main healer and average 12k heals per 10 but I’m hardstuck gold 😭
Learn to flex and play offensive supports. Sure, healing a brain dead team is nice when boosting stats, but if you want to win, you got to rely on yourself for the damage. Zenyatta is a great pick to get out of gold, and the opposing team never focuses him.

Sorry but gold medals really don’t matter, they’re worthless. So that guy is right, you are feeding/dying too much.
If you think this guy was feeding when gold elims is 12, imagine how bad the others were feeding.
