I was just a child when I first played AC2. I didn't know anything about it, it was just a game my dad downloaded by chance. And now I'm here, 23 yo, still getting emotional listening to AC beautiful soundtracks. I grew up with this saga and I didn't even realized until it was too late, until I was completely caught by its world. And Ezio started it all.

same here brodda! I remember getting it for the Ps3 and holy shit, i was in my own world for some years, AC2, AC Brotherhood, AC Revelations. Those Games were the best which could happen to me. I know i will never get those Vibes back. Back then as a Child playing this Game and listening to those Soundtracks outside feeling like an Assassin... ufff..

and yet, despite him blatantly revealing himself like that, he proved to be the strongest assassin to ever live, and the most adaptable. If he were thrust into Connor's time, he'd be able to adapt to the tree-climbing upon watching Connor do it just once, well okay actually he'd need to be instructed, but he'd still manage it really quickly regardless upon being given said instructions.
Probably my fav line from the trilogy... Or one of the top

There's a weird comfort in this song. It's so sad and haunting, but comforting too, in the depths of it.
Perhaps it's that Ezio stood the test of time. We remember him, and that's what we wish for ourselves - that we are remembered. Perhaps it's because the Sistine Chapel is one of the world's holiest sites, and we cling to holiness and purity. Perhaps it's simply in that there is a warmth in togetherness, and we have all been united by this song as the Assassins are by their Creed.
Who knows.

It was all of the above. Ezio showed us that it was pure determination, will power and belief in the Creed all it took to become the greatest. He fought to the very end to prove that all can die of old age in the creed. You just need discipline. Skills would come along with the profession as you slowly become an assassin. The Sistine Chapel represents the holiness of the reason in the unholiness of the way. "We kill because we must" and not because there is a choice. And all of these people believe in such ideals. Because the people of this world. Aren't all evil. Some are willing to sacrifice their own life and will, so others may live in prosperity.
I had the honor to walk in the streets of Firenze with this very theme playing through my headphones and standing at the Ponte Vecchio where Ezio got hit with the rock and got his scar. I shall never forget this moment. Thank you Ubisoft, for making this masterpiece
I have also booked a trip to Venice, Florence, Rome, Vatican and Constatinople and Will surely visit it with these songs playing in my headphones
That would have blown me away..doing that would almost have me expecting an Animus effect..hearing the voices, seeing Ezio beating the tar out of Vieri..

I used to listen to this religiously but I haven't heard this in a few years, now hearing this theme again hits me with a hard reflection of all the events leading up to this point of my life. Music is the purest form of nostalgia to me these days.

To say nothing is true, it means to realize that the foundations of our society is fragile and that we must be the shepherds of our own civilization.
To say everything is permitted, is that we are the architects of our own actions and that we must live with the consequences whether glorious or tragic.
It's a gray way of seeing life, where they don't have any ground to stand in, it's so weird because if assassins lose the goal of getting the artefacts , they will lose their life and fall into deep dark nihilistic abyss, yet still ....it looks cool.
@@senmonkashonen5875 well, isn't it everybody's life in the end....the world is created in chaos and nihilistic dilemma....you can make thousands of dreams of an utopian society but in reality those philosophies are not going to work as to human is err and there is also the seven deadly sins in human..so knowing that "nothing is true"...actually makes you free, helps you to think freely.....and by "everything is permitted ".....you come to know you are your own writer of destiny....but that doesn't mean you have to be an assassin...but again this little theory of mine is too a point of view....so it can't be completely true(as nothing is true 😉) and yeah the games are damn cool
I can't explain the surge of emotions I feel with this video. The Ezio trilogy is so emotional, my favorite arc in the entire AC saga, all the good emotions I've felt since the time I first played it are coming in the form of tears now. The Mentore legacy lives on.
everyone getting nostalgia about eioz's adventure, but me thinking about the times whenever Ezio & gang , by gang i mean Bartolomeo , La Volpe , Da Vinci, Machiavelli , his uncle , his sister & few others planning something big.

Ezio is just one of those characters you never forget. He shaped my life he thought me that anger and hate aren’t the way. He thought me to help people first you have to help yourself become better. He thought me that’s it’s okay to ask for help it’s okay to lose. What matters is you don’t lose hope and you keep on trying. Thank you to Ezio and all the people involved in bringing his wonderful story to life.
It really is amazing to see Ezio's story getting all this love so long after his journey ended. ACII was so monumental in so many ways to me when I was young. The story, character, music, design all resonated with me. But I remember being sooo impressed that there were so many npcs present without my game crashing or the fact that I could literally scale the huge buildings off in the distance. I remember walking around Florence just so I could listen to the music with the city sounds in the background. Lots of memories with this game.
I still play AC nowadays, but none of the other protagonists have ever impacted me as much as Ezio did. His games and the memories that came with them will always have a special place in my heart

The very first time I entered the Sistine Chapel, I had this exact song in my head as I was staring every bit of art inside this godly room and watching the ceiling beautifuly painted by Michelangelo

I’m just glad and proud that Ezio was one of the characters I grew up with as a kid, always looking up to heroes who didn’t exist, but always taught us to do good and always do the right thing, be brave and stand by your beliefs no matter what.

You know you made a good song when it can be heard a decade later, and in differents forms, all over the internet.
This song is literally the best in all the games and the only one they carried through all the others in different versions, this one remains the best, and ezio will forever be my favorite assassin, he has my heart. This is beautiful.

I was nearly 9 years old when I fiirstt played Assassins Creed 2 on my Ps3 on either 24th or 25th December 2010 and I was AMAZED to say the least. Now 10 years later, hearing this song again brings me my memories (R.I.P. Ps3 it died this year after we'll over 12 years of service)
Ezio’s Family will always hit home, even if it is my first playthrough right now. It makes me sleepy and it’s just so beautiful I could cry. You will always have a special place in my heart. ❤️

Fun fact: the paintings of the Sistine Chapel took for 4 or 5 years to paint. This was all painted by Michelangelo.

I have been to the sistine chapel and actually I've been thinking about Ezio's mission there. I even recognized the two circles Ezio touches after he uses eagle vision in order to access the first civ temple.
