I think both drizzling and dipping are good. Dipping is great when you're eating bare-handed, letting you control how much sauce is on each fry and enjoy each one. Drizzling is great when you're ating with utencils, or want a more veried distributions of flavor.
The only excuse for drizzle is when you are at a fastfood stall and get the fries served on a tiny paper bowl that has no sensible place for a dollop of condiments.
Drizzling should not be allowed for ketchup alone…. If I’m eating some chili cheese fries, poutine, or any other loaded fries then it’s fair game to drizzle whatever the heck you want! But that becomes silverware territory lol
