This is actually a really sad change to me. Some of the coolest moments in the game are just wild and insane things happening. Medivh weapon summoning Wild Pyro after an Equality type stuff doesn't happen often but it creates two separate and amusing stories. I'll miss that
I like how the ordering mechanics work now, I hope they don't really change them. The only thing I hate about the current mechanics, is the time that I Stampeding Kodo'd a Mad Scientist, and my Kodo got copied by the Mirror Entity that came out of Mad Scientist.
So would one of those quirky mechanics they're changing be evolve or bloodreaver guldan making an unlicensed apothecary kill you? It makes sense since they said wild pyro's getting a similar change
The evolve interaction is getting changed but it's completely different and unrelated thing. Apothecary from Bloodreaver or Krul is probably getting changed but maybe not.
The issue isn't the rules, the issue is communicating the rules. They don't need to change the rules, they just need to put in an extra layer of tutorial that actually explains how the game works in greater detail. There aren't any interactions in the entire game that don't make sense once you see how they work so the entire problem is people not being able to see how things work. It's dumb to change the very nature of the game several years in just because some people get confused about how fringe interactions will play out. Teach them and leave the game alone for those of us that already know how to play it. Hopefully we will at least get the silver lining of more complex and interesting card effects in the next expansion but that doesn't make any of this a good thing.
Unlicensed Apothecary? In what context? I'm going to assume you mean when it randomly pops out with several other minions at once, like maybe with bloodreaver for some reason, the summons are processed in a sequence so any that occur "after" the apothecary will be summoned while it is in play and trigger the effect. If you meant something else please clarify since it's not really clear.
Who really cares if it has been part of the game for years? It's a digital game which means it can be altered at any time. If people complain about certain interactions because they make the game less fun, it seems completely appropriate for them to change those interactions to make a better experience overall.
Cyan Light I’m fine with it happening when apothecary is SUMMONED, but when it appears from a devolve/evolve it doesn’t make sense because you didn’t summon anything. The minions just changed
Oh, I actually hadn't seen that somehow but looking up clips it does appear to be a thing. That seems like an issue with the specific card not working properly though, since other "when you summon" cards don't trigger off of transformation. Fixing a single card that isn't working as intended doesn't require a rules overhaul. And the point is that the game is the game. There's a certain level of trust between the players and the designers that even though the game can hypothetically become something wildly different tomorrow, when I log in I trust that things will continue to be what they were before. I get that sometimes changes will be made to fine-tune things but substantial rules changes are a very different matter and this is especially annoying since the entire reason this is a problem is because people just haven't been told how the game works. It would be easy to expand the tutorial in this game, it's probably one of the worst tutorials out of any digital CCGs (of the ones I've played, only Smite provided less information), and doing that would solve the underlying problem rather than masking it with this. Because people still aren't going to know what they're doing and they will still complain about it.
Blue Banana when yasharaaj pulls another end of turn effect minion, it doesnt trigger. When pyro is pulled from a spell it triggers, even though it wasnt alive when the spell was casted.
That Pyromancer example makes no sense. The Pyromancer's effect triggers AFTER a spell is cast. The Pyromancer is summoned BY the spell. So once the spell is cast, the Pyromancer is on the board and its effect can activate. What is so crazy or nonsensical about that interaction that it requires changing? Edit: LIKE, IT EVEN SAYS "AFTER" ON THE CARD.
I kinda agree with you but if at the same time, the pyro wasn't in the board when the spell was casted, so maybe he shouldn't be able to activated, just a thought tho.
Yeah, evolve, get pyro, wipe your own board, atiesh get pyro, draw a bunch of cards for the enemy, kill your shit/overdraw etc. Shits needs to be changed whether it'll be the wording or the card
Because the spell was cast before the pyro was summoned, the pyro isn't on board until after the spell is cast so how does the pyro know whether or not a spell has been cast? The way pyro should work is the way it works with most spells. If you play an execute then play pyro afterwards for example, the effect doesn't trigger because it wasn't on board when the spell was cast. I'd assume this mechanic is supposed to apply to all the spells (why it needs changing)
It wasn't on the board when the spell was cast but it was on the board when the spell finished resolving, which is when "after" triggers occur. It makes perfect sense and it's annoying that they're changing it purely because people are too dumb to reason through basic interactions (or even better, see it in practice one time either in-game or in one of the millions of hours of video of the game and then just remember what they've already seen without needing to do any further thinking at all).
6:25 _Insert joke about control warrior being unkillable_

Nothing weird about him turning into a carrot, this was totally expected.
Has he dyed it?
Jaksa Beta-carotene is what a real vegan needs
FarSightterino Kripperino wouldn't that make him a cannibal?
Jaksa What hair? I only see a salty bald guy.
See kids? This is what happens when a vegan overdoses on carrot juice
Me And Hearthstone no

6:20 for anyone curious, thats the kind of interaction that is getting removed from HS. Pyro wouldnt trigger after beeing summoned by the spell.
Nice original comments at top. Nice!
This is actually a really sad change to me. Some of the coolest moments in the game are just wild and insane things happening. Medivh weapon summoning Wild Pyro after an Equality type stuff doesn't happen often but it creates two separate and amusing stories. I'll miss that

"Heh, Greetings!"
6:20 well played kripp! you must make more videos about how desperate aggro to kill a control player
I like how the ordering mechanics work now, I hope they don't really change them. The only thing I hate about the current mechanics, is the time that I Stampeding Kodo'd a Mad Scientist, and my Kodo got copied by the Mirror Entity that came out of Mad Scientist.

Holy shit. I haven't watched kripp for a while I guess......he has a hair "style" now. Gg
Kripp going super sayan soon enough
I wanted to see the Don Han Cho on Leeroy. Play Leeroy on turn 10 and Inner Rage it + sudden genesis. Now... now that's some amount of damage.
That's what you call new Reno in a nut shell
Fun, in my Hearthstone? Less likely than you'd think.
Good prediction: 8:27.
I really miss the "Player Skill Meta", rather than the "Draw Chance Meta" we have now.
Dat armor gain tho
So what happens if you use Cho'Gall with something like Forbidden Shaping? Does it kill you?
Forbidden Shaping costs 0 mana. Spending all mana is the effect of the card, not the cost.
Kripp looks like a post modern rock Band singer
Now you need to grow long hair and you'll look like your avatar picture :P
Holy shit that armor gain lol
So would one of those quirky mechanics they're changing be evolve or bloodreaver guldan making an unlicensed apothecary kill you? It makes sense since they said wild pyro's getting a similar change

Tank Up, Rank Up, No Friends, Control Warrior.
Awesome hair, dont skip.

Gingerino Kripperino
Just casually gaining 54 armor in one turn...
*SPREAD THE WORD! KRIPP DADDY WILL BE ON H3H3’s PODCAST!*
Dude got a seagull hiding in his brow every video
Impressive victory.
I need a good c'thun deck
Mr. duckling did that card is playable in this meta?
Its not good but I still have a good time with cthun druid
Jade c'thun druid is fun
Mr. duckling use C'tun handbuff paladin
Warrior dead man;s hand c'thun you can just build a super tanky warrior and have c'thun be your win condition.... again, and again, and AGAIN
tfw you're worried about Hunter playing Taunt.
His hair looks so much better rly
_"I will hunt you down!"_
54 armor 1 turn. There is so much to this game I don't know
LOL that combo tho
Dude what did u do to ur hair?
Wouldn't a single Dead Man's Hand do wonders in this deck?
And this is why you don’t eat your vegetables kids, you’ll get ginger hair and get mocked for the rest of your life!
Where is Veganhairdyerino Kripperino
Kripp, i think i noticed something off regarding your hair. Please ask Rania about it.
I've noticed a theme with you saying what the opponent needs, then them having it. Maybe you need to stop jinxing it
Yeah, this is what I expected. After getting rekt yesterday by this OTK deck, he would try it. Even if he played it the wrong way.
Kripp sold his soul to BB. That's why he's becoming a ginger.
That moment when veganism slowly turns you into a carrot
Carrot juice too OP
You are what u eat
7:05 "59 health" :c
Only took the small indie company 3 years to fix the wild pyromancer issue
"Fix"
"Issue"
The issue isn't the rules, the issue is communicating the rules. They don't need to change the rules, they just need to put in an extra layer of tutorial that actually explains how the game works in greater detail. Cyan Light Apothecary doesn’t make sense since your not summoning anything

6:40
Too bad this won't work in 6.2 Update.
Its wierd that the pyro thing works like that. Ysharaaj doesnt...
What do you mean?
Blue Banana when yasharaaj pulls another end of turn effect minion, it doesnt trigger. When pyro is pulled from a spell it triggers, even though it wasnt alive when the spell was casted.
So satisfying
Could updatr this deck every new set I just made this deck and love it so I hope you do update it
Caterino Kripperino?
