What do you think of the new Chapeltown Rag song? It’s personally one of my fav songs from them (though Wait and Bleed will always be my fav Slipknot song), but the new song is just so heavy and screams Slipknot to me. I went to London arena when I was 17 to see them on their new Iowa release. turns out the disasterpieces dvd was being filmed there and then, and I got on it briefly. was an incredible memory. am feeling old.. 😞😞

I do buy CDs. My point was that, wether or not it has a slipcase it has the same content. I don't buy 10 different versions of an album. I just buy the definitive version ONCE. And from the looks of it that is what Opium Pulses does too, so I was just giving him a heads up.
The most limited edition is this one. It has alternative cover as a form of slipcase so that's why it's better than the rest. I wasn't downing him, he said he could find only this version of vol 3 so I told him there's even better one. That's it haha.

I'm sorry to tell you this but your Mate.Feed.Kill.Repeat album isn't the real one. The real version is greener but also to tell you if you didn't know this on the album after the final song the industrial noises from the beginning come in and after 5 minutes and 10 seconds a hidden track comes on called dogfish rising. It basically them just toying around with Clown on the main drums, Paul on vocals, Josh brainard (their first guitarist 1995-1999) on bass and Joey on the guitar. The Producer I forgot his name but i think his last name is mcmartin I could be wrong was Also vocals on dogfish rising and there was someone else that was't credited. You also gained a new sub.
I didn't claim it to be an original copy, but even decent copies of the bootlegs aren't cheap to come across anymore so I'd prefer to keep mine in good condition. Interesting info about the bonus track though, thanks for that!
Completely disagree with your criticism of the All Hope is Gone aesthetic. It looks bleak and desolate which I think is pretty cool, and you cannot deny that Joeys mask was badass

Each album suits a different mood for me so I love them all for different reasons, but if I had to choose which I thought was most impressive, in order it'd go... (updated to now include WANYK) 1. Gray Chapter (Just a decent album start to finish, impeccable song writing) 2. Self-titled (Nostalgia drenched and intensely aggressive) 3. Subliminal Verses (A metal album that survived the saturated nu-metal era) 4. Iowa (Sheer dark, atmospheric brutality) 5. We Are Not Your Kind (Most experimental since MFKR, notable heavy moments) 6. All Hope Is Gone (The most easy-listening) 7. Mate, Feed, Kill, Repeat (Most experimental with funk and jazz influences)

I have heard about this, excited as I am (especially for the potential for more grass!), I can't help but feel disappointed that Subliminal Verses didn't get the same treatment a couple years ago, maybe there wasn't enough content from that period to justify it, but as a completionist and with that album being easily in my top 3, I just wished they'd done something for it as the special edition that currently exists is a little lame.
I understand Corey was having issues with his vocals at the time and had to approach his screaming differently, but just because you understand WHY something is the way it is, doesn't mean you need to enjoy it anymore more or less. As for complaining about All Hope is Gone, I don't get your point - I'm clearly a fan of Slipknot so I feel I'm at least entitled to my own opinion on that specific album.

Then I'm afraid to say you must not have mingled with all that many English folk, Karl Pilkington (although a complete legend), is from Manchester and has a very distinct northern accent. I however, am from Oxford and we're known to have a very bland, flat accent. Although I will admit, comedically I sometimes infuse the way other British comedians talk for fun, those including Ray Peacock, Ricky Gervais, Steve Coogan and even Karl Pilkington. Most people from the UK would argue though, that I sound nothing like Karl Pilkington - the only connection we have is that we're both English.

Then I'm afraid to say you must not have mingled with all that many English folk, Karl Pilkington (although a complete legend), is from Manchester and has a very distinct northern accent. I however, am from Oxford and we're known to have a very bland, flat accent. Although I will admit, comedically I sometimes infuse the way other British comedians talk for fun, those including Ray Peacock, Ricky Gervais, Steve Coogan and even Karl Pilkington.
Most people from the UK would argue though, that I sound nothing like Karl Pilkington - the only connection we have is that we're both English.
