Here's my broke man trader special: I use a window 10 / Linux Mint Dual Boot netbook, -( 180.00) and 43 inch LG 4K TV,-(189.00 ) witch allowes me to have just 1 HDMI Cable to connect. The TV alllow me to have as many boxes as I want vs have multiple monitors. You can run linux mint and the speed is INSANE ON DAS or TOS. I trade penny stocks and use TOS OCO brackets so i dont have much to do accept set BUY, SELL and most important the .01 cent or trailing stop no matter what trade I take worst case its a .01 stop loss. So far I have been profitabe.
They're called _windows,_ not "boxes." Aren't DAS and TOS cloud-based apps? If so, wouldn't they run at the same "insane" speed no matter what computer or operating system you use? Where did you buy a 43-inch LG 4K TV for $189? Good luck with that tight 1-cent trailing stop loss and OCO.

It makes no sense to me. If you don't want to be distracted by trading data while doing, say, your taxes, simply turn off the data stream! I routinely use 3 monitors for ALL my work, anyway, not just for trading.

I’m a truck driver but I would like to start trading inside my truck. Which laptop would you recommend to be used out here on the road?
