I stopped rubbing two times a day on around my 3-4 months. It could be different for you but just stop when your hair is looking fully locked. you may need to crochet hook them to get them looking how you want them, but it depends what look you are going for. Thanks for the kind words :)
No not at all I washed them once a week so they did not get the chance. The salt spray is really good, but don't over use it because it can make the hair brittle and could brake.
Try the deep cleanse- Bicarbonate soda, apple cider vinegar, lemon juice, and see salt. Even after shampooing you will see how much more this cleanse your dreads.
Hey buddy okay well at the beginning I washed my hair once a week and still do once a week. I crocheted them in between my first and second month of dreading when they were still young. this is because they are still soft and fluffy and will stick to the other dreads easy once crocheted. Hope this helps dude.
If you go to dreadlock shampoo dot com they have an array of products to choose from! All organic and I must say the dragon's blood smells fantastic (recently bought that scent). Dunno if they ship over seas, but it's worth checking out!
I'm confused. did you get them done at a salon after about 6 months? I don't mean anything bad by this. I just started my dread journey and am just curious.
