- Obviously, we love TH-cam and the whole TH-cam community. Y'all are the best. That being said, some of our fellow TH-camrs have some seriously questionable tattoos. We just had to show them to our panel to sound off on. So we looked at the ink of some of the community's most beloved stars, including Bailey Sarian, Gabbie Hanna, Katya, CinnamontoastKen and more. We laughed, we cried and we laughed some more. Enjoy!

It’s a shame they didn’t recognize the inspiration behind Katya’s tattoo, it’s clearly based on Orthodox iconography but they went straight to just roasting. She has such original ink inspired by her religious background and Russian character. Honestly from her tarot cards to her Russian prison cat tattoos it’s a super interesting collection. I’m pretty sure she even has her own original artwork tattooed on her as well. You could do a whole video on her. Better yet, have her on so she can explain them to you herself!

He actually just did a video kind-of responding to their review and he said basically the story behind it is that Ken asked his tattoo artist what he would like to do and the artist explained his idea, so Ken was like, sure, get me a sketch of it! Also, the dude has a wife and three kids, so as he explains his less kid-friendly tattoos are in more hidden places.

It may seem weird, but like in Christian Orthodox images, all saints sorta look like that, it's a style. Other than the pentagram of course.
Yeah, my grandma was orthodox christian and the imagery takes from bizantine iconography (which makes sense for Katya). That is probably inspired by images of Christ Pantocrator
yeah this is byzantine style, it's supposed to look very stylized due to the time. it goes into how to the knowledge of human anatomy is able to be transfered into a 2-d space with the technology at the time. if you look into like byzantine mosaics, you'll find a lot of cool info on the style and composite view in general!
Yup. Actual pastor here. Minus the pentagram, that could be on the walls of a thousand churches around the globe. Which, I assume, makes it a very intentional “f.u.” To a Christianity, and likely a specific group of christians in her life. Which…….I often have a certain sympathy for….but that’s for another time….

The Jesus tattoo Katya has is based on byzantine Eastern Orthodox iconography, that’s why the eyes are so close together

I wish inked would've shown the artists CTK and other TH-camrs (who have lots of sleeves or full body tats) all of their tattoos and have them get the full picture. CTK has an epic sleeve and I think if the artists were to see that, I think their minds would've been changed a little or even with Snitchery and Bailey.

Why do I get the feeling they chose Ken’s peach tattoo specifically out of his whole sleeve so they could just rip into him. Surprised to see tattoo artists judging a guy so hard based on literally one tattoo and nothing else about him. Kens a nice guy and a great father. Haven’t really seen too many videos from this channel but I doubt I’ll be inclined to come back to it since the clearly wanted to make a segment at his expense.

Poor CTK, he really doesn't come across as creepy, a lot of his videos are really wholesome and funny! A bit hypocritical for tattoo artists to judge a book by it's cover Imo (for most of these, not just Cinnamontoastken) 😅 I've seen creeps with beautiful tattoos, and the most wonderful people with really rauchy or weird tattoos, it just comes down to personal taste in art styles I feel.

yeah, like it crosses a line when it stops commenting on the tattoo and starts commenting on the individual. Personally don’t like the tat and find it odd, sure plenty of people would feel the same, but that has nothing to do with who he is as a person and as long as he likes the tattoo it’s fine.

Not a tattoo guy myself, but I would expect these "artists" to give a fair judgement on Kens' sleeve, not do him dirty by just giving shallow insults based on one tattoo. He's a pretty wholesome guy, give him a fair chance and critique the art instead of insulting the person.

For artists y’all are judgey af. I get super bummed watching a lot of these… I understand that even professionals have personal artistic opinions but, damn.. I would HATE to see my artist as a judge in a video about trashing others cause he does great work and I’d have to find a new artist 🤷🏻♀️ a lot of these tattoos are well done in terms of line work and saturation and most of the critiques are style alone. It’s weird. And makes me feel sticky. Negative mf’s. But, here I am. Commenting. So… 🤷🏻♀️ got me.

Exactly some of these look like they’re straight off a sketchbook. Not just any tattoo artist can do that. The style is always optional and should be the person who’s getting it’s choice. They shouldn’t have to get tattoos they may not like just to please someone else who sees it.
