I have two Wii U units, which had a flashing red LED, analyzing the board I came across the IC D9172 getting very hot, after desoldering this IC from the main board the console flashes the LED in blue, I had to stop there, as I don't have spare part.
Mine had a red blinking light, I had left my wii u on for a while on standby. Then I plugged it off, and it turned pn without a problem. What should I do? Should I be concerne
Do you have a schematic for the mainboard? I've got a dead unit with fixed power and eject leds and most of the inductances on the circuit are at 0V (the 3.3V is OK though). I found the Wii U in the street and I'd like to fix it to prevent another e-waste

I have a wii u that doesn't work with one of the antennas connected and the sync button doesn't work either

I think you have found the broken part, so putting a new one back on would fix the issue

I am having the same issue with mine after opening up and trying to replace a wifi chip. Now it won't work. Help!

It should I’m screw, then you need tweezers to pull it out
