I have two Wii U units, which had a flashing red LED, analyzing the board I came across the IC D9172 getting very hot, after desoldering this IC from the main board the console flashes the LED in blue, I had to stop there, as I don't have spare part.

I think you have found the broken part, so putting a new one back on would fix the issue

It should I’m screw, then you need tweezers to pull it out
