Updating The Playroom, Nugget Play Couch Set Up, Getting Ready For Surgery & More Fun! | Home Vlog

- In today's home vlog, we set up our Nugget play couches that we ordered a couple weeks ago. Jackson loves them and we've had fun figuring out new ways to set them up each day! We also give you an update about Tim's wisdom teeth surgery and how he's feeling now that it's about a week after surgery. Then we have a little outdoor play time! We continue the vlog a couple days later and make some breakfast and then we show you the wobble board that we ordered for the playroom! Jackson is loving this playroom update and we are too! Jackson is such a big helper. He’s growing so fast. The nugget couch looks cool. I’d like to get one for my teen for her gaming space. Hoping everything went well with Tim’s surgery.
We got our teen a nugget to go under her loft bed! She uses it as a couch and it doubles as a bed for our youngest when they sleep in the same room! We love the Nugget!

Prayers being sent for Tim's surgery. Jenn, I also have a super hard time sleeping when my husband is away. I have to sleep with the TV on and then never sleep. You aren't alone!
This is my favorite age. Jackson’s vocabulary is astonishingly huge. He’s such a bright happy little buddy. It’s an exhausting age too huh? The big vocabulary leads to big opinions that they will loudly defend. At all times. 😂 My little guy is six now and he routinely schools me on coding for computer programming and explaining combustible steam engines. So….yeah. I think y’all are in for a similar adventure. These big brain boys keep you so busy! He’s so beautiful though and clearly so very cherished. It’s fun to watch y’all together. Thank you for sharing him with us. He’s a gift. ❤️
PS-from one baker to another, you won’t get shell in your eggs if you crack the eggs on a flat surface. You’ll get a cleaner crack in the shell as well. That bit of info changed my baking life! Who knew?! 🤷🏻♀️ 🍳

My daughter used to be in gymnastics and we got a huge bean bag like your pillow. She would do handstands and fall onto her back onto the bean bag. She would do this all day! She loved it!

Wishing Tim a speedy recovery. My father just had a multi hernia repair the second week of February. He had over a foot long incision and got a large piece of mesh put in place. He came home with 45 staples and 2 drains. Less than 2 weeks post op and he was back on his feet ready to go. You got this Tim.

Like for real- Jackson cannot get any cuter! His vocabulary and language is amazing!! But what I love even more is that he is SO inquisitive and active. I am sure that’s exhausting for u guys but he is just learning such an immense amount of stuff! It’s fun to watch and see his little brain working as he does different things w u guys! I didn’t always see it w my girls but watching others kids is amazing!
Jackson is at the super chatty stage! Just talking away, commenting on anything and everything and wanting to DO things! So much fun watching kids engage with the world more and more actively.

As for suggestions for the playroom a ikea filsat sensory table and a pikler or brain rich kids gym , I live in a small apartment and my kids favorite toys are the nugget,wobble board,pikler and scooter board , we also hung a dry erase board at their level for magnatiles and writing

The egg cracking is so cute! He is so careful! My 2 year old dumped out an 18 pack of eggs and cracked one on our entry rug yesterday - I was putting the other groceries away. She helps in the kitchen too so I think she was trying to make a cake!
