Victor played right after we did that night. It was freezing cold and he still didn't miss a note. He is a sweet guy and a monster player.
Victor, there is nobody to play such music, it's all you, music full of spirit, full of you.
He once did a presentation at my daughter's school free of charge. I even more impressed by his desire to share the positive effects of music than his playing (which, of course, is phenomenal).

Victor Wooten is one of the most humble person on the planet. And he is the best.
My god, theresn't a man whose play the bass like that :S, everyday he got something new to show us, man, you re the better bass player in the world
You can see the cold affected his playing a little bit. Messed up in the part where he does the bass part and melody at the same time. But that stretch is hard even when you are warmed up and not in the cold. haha
no matter how well you play your bass, If you are beginner or more advanced, love your bass and it will love you in return. the more love you put into it the more you get back.

Victor is a real gentleman. Not only specified for this video but in general, you can see that he carefully listens people when they are talking, even if the subject is shitty. That what makes me call him as "Master".

When he was touring the Sam Ash Music store chain giving lectures and musical demonstrations I asked him to play this tune. He said up front that he hadn't played it in many years but he played it anyway. I'm happy to see him busting this tune out again.
