Amazing. Who knows the last time that old organ had a tune played on it and the church has had that wonderful sound echoing through its hall. Thank you for playing a glorious tune for the souls at rest in the old, neglected graveyard, Terry.
Great find Terry. I do hope this church is not demolished. Such a shame that it has been neglected and left derelict for so long. Hopefully it will survive for many years to come. It deserves to.
What an absolute treasure to find, even though in very rough and "sad" shape. I enjoy all of your videos but the historic "church quest" are my favorites. Thank you, Terry. Let me know when you plan a trip to the USA. God bless.
Greetings Terry and Elsie! 👋👋😃You've found a Harmonium - how Wonderful !! Love to hear these old instruments 'live and breathe again'. 🎶🎹💙🎹🎶 Looking forward to this special Church Quest. Thanks!! 👍🌍❤🌎
What beautiful craftsmanship and considering the age of the harmonium it's fabulous... My Grandma played one as a young girl..she was born 1910 ... Love from South Carolina 🌴
Terry, You are so clever. You know many kinds of keyboard 🎹 like instruments. I believe the harmonium was so delighted to have you played beautiful tunes with it. It's been on its own for a long time. I enjoyed the music. Hoping that the church can stay for longer time! May God bless it! Amen 💖
What a beautiful and peaceful church. Harmonium sounded amazing, and played beautifully. Does look like someone is still keeping up with painting the entrance and whatnot. Thanks for an awesome video.
That was beautiful… love that song Thank you for sharing. The church and graves make you think what it was like back then. You are so talented.. God Bless Debbie from New York
Your music brings light and some of the old glory into every corner of this „old house“…wunderful!!! One could literally see a house full of souls in a warm environment. Music makes the soul go round.
This was such a beautiful old church. And it is sad that it has been abandoned. Also, to see the graveyard so unattended. Terry, you made that old pump organ ring out beautifully! 👍❤️🙏
Sorry Terry I lost you! But thankfully am back to one of the most delightful videos on the whole of TH-cam! You are a wonder and continue to delight and inspire us!
Very emotional to watch such sacred place that is not being well looked after. There needs to be funds for restoring all churches that are out there. Peace to all and thank you Terry for visiting these wonderful places.
Thank you Terry... that was beautiful but looked like very hard work! Loved all the history. And thank you to Elsie for the camera work... I felt like I was a trip with you :)
Wonderful videos and all the others on churches. You should make a series out of this. It would be great for US market. Well done! So glad I have subscribed to your channel Terry. I live in Dallas TX but was born and brought up in Bristol. Your series of videos on churches and their pianos etc makes me so home sick. Fascinating material.
Wow! My Great Grandmother had a Home Harmonium which I used to play as a child! She was church organist at her local Baptist Church for at least 50 years & died @ 95 Years Old! Those were the days of great church organ music all over UK!
Terry you are such an amazing man. Thank you for the musical interlude. I’ve never heard the likes of a harmonium. I’ll bet if there are parishioners still there they would shackle you to the church. Tom.
Oh Terry, thank you for sharing such a special place with us all. Your playing really tugged at my heart strings thinking of all the folk that had gone before.🙏🏻
Great video, and great music! I think the old church enjoyed the tune as much as I did. It seemed to fill it's soul again, if only for a few minutes. Thanks Terry!
Thank you Terry for this video and, taking pictures of this beautiful 13th Century church in Wales.....It's amazing that the old organ works! It breaks my heart to see that this little church and village has been abandoned....Such history there.....Thanks, again.
Hi Terry, what a wonderful video of this beautiful old church and graveyard. Your feet pumping away at the pedals for the bellows and your fingers gliding across the keyboard breathed life into the old Harmonium. Just imagine the stories those old walls would tell if they could only speak. They have witnessed people’s life journeys from the happy times of birth and marriage to the sadness of death. The carved pillars and woodwork show that a lot of pride and skill went into building this church. Wouldn’t it be great to see it bought back to some of its former glory. Congregations age and dwindle, people move away to find a better life. Thankfully people like yourself enjoy seeking out these hidden gems and allow us, your viewers to enjoy it too. Thanks to you and Elsie. Stay safe and well. Judy
It’s a shame to see a lovely old place of worship.abandoned like that, and the graveyard so neglected. It was lovely to hear the harmonium, I’ve not heard one for many years. I hope that this old church and graveyard can be cared for again.
Fantastic video ol boy. Thank you & Team Miles for bringing this historic church to TH-cam & making beautiful music in God’s House again. I’m sure angels were singing along. Johnny Mercer isn’t the only musician who can make angels sing😊. There’s Terry Miles!! Cheers.
You can imagine a (small) Welsh male voice choir doing their best as the congregation dwindled to a handful or fewer. You have made the walls and the whole church remember the good times. And the rest of us imagine how this little church must have once thrived.
Don't know how I missed this! Great to hear your bring the old Harmonium to life Terry. It does seem hard work to play it with all the pedalling but you made lovely sound and music come from it.😊
Emotional with your first melody Terry. What an amazing old almost forgotten church in that remote location.Your socks had to work really hard today//❤ Lovely sound.💐💐💐💐💐💐💐💐🌅🎵🎵🎶🎵🎶🎶❤️
Thank You @Gromozeka. Greetings to you from here in Wales, UK. All the boogie best and please tune into my next TH-cam Live-Stream that I shall Live-Stream on Thursday, May 4th, 2023 at 5:30PM (UK Time). All the boogie best. Terry 🎹🍺🙏👍
Hi Terry, what a lovely old church. I recently found out my husbands ancestors were from Snowdonia, his great great great grandather built a pub called rhe Queens Hotel in Bleaneau Ffestiniog after making some money in the gold rush in Australia, always hoping you'll go in there one day so we can see it (we live in Australia). Cheers
I wonder if the thirteenth century churchgoers could have ever imagined that a long haired, wild-looking man wearing bright-red socks, would some day come along and play such amazing tunes on their humble little pipe organ while broadcasting images of it around the world
My 82 year old mother tried to post a comment here but couldn't figure out how to, so I'm posting it for her. "That is so Special. And the Music was So Beautiful. Makes you feel like you are There. Harmonium, I've never heard that word before. But is like an Organ. Friends of Friendless churches, Makes me think of some of the churches that I've [known back home in West Virginia]".

A great video, Terry and Elsie. There is nothing quite like an old and lonely church and if it still has that warmth you encountered then its peace is tangible. I know similar parish churches in Kirkburn (Yorks.) and near Duror (west of Glencoe) which envelop you with the goodness of the ancient dead. A kind person(s) has renovated the roof of your building; it looks in wonderful shape. If the roof is sound the battle of holding together the rest of structure is greatly enhanced.
Excellent, well played and lovely to hear the instruments sounds once more. Sadly such churches are just abandoned by the Church hierarchy these days, neglecting the Parishioners! Thank you.
Cant wait to see the beautiful church you have found Terry its always wonderful to see the places you go and share with us i just love the old churches. Thanks for sharing old boy cheers to you and Elsie and family. 🎹🎹🎹🎹👍❤️🌴
What a beautiful old church - the roof looked in good condition outside from what could be seen. Either that harmonium was remarkably high or that chair was very low! Great footwork Terry - I'll have some grapes to crush later this year. I'll give you a shout when they are ready 🍇ATB 🙏👏🎹
Terry you made that harmonium sound so heavenly..🙏❤️🤗 That sure is a beautiful historic church. It may be empty but God's presence is always there. Thank you and your family for showing us around.😍👍🦎🐍🏜️🌞
For anybody that does not know “Keep on the road and stay off the moors” is a bit of dialogue from the movie An American werewolf in London. If you have not seen it then it is a must and it got an Acadamy Award for best special effects as it was groundbreaking for the day.
I’m from the USA but would love to visit such a beautiful Church and graveyard! I would be cleaning the graves up for those who passed! What a lovely video and playing the organ! Thank you for sharing this! Sincerely Cindy in Ohio USA
Thanks Terry and camerawoman. The video is very impressive. A journey into the past. I had to dispose of my harmonium three years ago. It was played in a church for a long time and stood as an ornament in my apartment for many years. I can only play a little. The old church you visited would be a good place for interesting movies. Greetings from Bavaria in Germany. Peter
Fantastic Terry ! i love how you bring life to such places. the tranquility of the place moved me as you played and i got the sense that all those whom have past and are buried there.. Im sure they have a deep appreciation for you for playing for them after some time of the place being still and quiet. i think its awesome what you do. makes you stand separate than other musicians and i am thankful to have found you thru dr. k. again thanks Terry and keep up with what you are doing. oh, and have a couple brewskies for me while your at it. :)) Tom

Terry I have watched and enjoyed you for years without ever commenting. This exploration has motivated me to tell you that what you do is beautiful. Please don't ever stop! I do not play music or am religious but I do appreciate connecting with the past and preserving it, thank you!

So much unbelief these days. May God bless us again so the churches will be full and the Word of God preached and the Lord be praised. Thanks for finding the church and sharing. It bring tears to the eyes to hear the music again.
Amazing...the Church is like us. Tired and negleted at times. The organ's music - like the Holy Spirit that Jesus has given us, brings a new life to all who hear it.
Hello Terry. A wonderful video. There is so much wildernees in north Wales you were lucky to find Llanfrothen and the amazing chapel. It is difficult to pronunce the names of Welsh villages because the Welsh alphabet has significant differences from the English alphabet. Llanfrothen is pronounced thlann-vrothenn.
