if you build up the barriers on 2 teamates sides and leave one path open, all the enemies avoid the barriers and go straight to the open path, use anders kodiaks to destroy all ground units, and have the other 2 teamates do solely anti air, then stick the heroes in the path to slow down the enemy. strategy never fails. just force them into one place

Anders’ Turrets get Shields which helps them live a lot longer, plus making kodiaks and siege turrets will shred ground units thanks to the sentinel beacon power. It also distracts them from coming to the Terminus. Give her a shot!

When I play Firefight, Anders or Pavium are the only leaders I use. Great at holding areas.

She's one of my favorite leaders because of all the sentinel buffs
Another good pick people seem to gloss over is Anders. Sentinel Beacons with Siege turrets on the 2 solt mini bases are excellent against Infantry. Serina is also good for this because of her Siege turret upgrades. If you build on all turrets by the terminus, freezing ground units is also very helpful and with 6 AA upgraded turrets, this helps defend against the direct air attacks.
Anders straight up is the best leader for TF imo. The aforementioned Siege Turrets/Kodiaks with the Sentinel Beacons, upgrades costing less and taking less time to research, Protector Sentinels being among the fastest units in the game which is great for helping another teammate secure one of their sides, shielded turrets, and two different ultimate units when the Retriever is included next to the Condor.

I like arbiter. His hero unit is rediculous when fully upgraded. He can take on full waves in rage mode. (From 1 portion of the map.) And while he doesn't have too much in offensive abilities his stasis abilities can buy you and your team time.
But what happens if a squad of Vultures/Hornets spawn?
Run.
My personal favourite team consists of Arbiter, Voridus and Colony. Between the stasis and enforcers, infusion ooze and volatile Scarab and the Combat Repairs and Living Barriers these three Banished leaders can tank anything. Also the Banished turrets are the best turrets
The game spawns too many air units at once. It should be easier to defeat an only air force squad

I completed Terminus fight to 100 with Shipmaster.
Using double scarab with Shrouds, the Scarab Hitbox can block the Mass Air from moving to the Terminus.
Only direct air is the problem.

anders is pretty ridiculous at stalling. not sure how you didn't mention her in the top section. < just beat wave 100 in 2ve with anders/serina. just let serina build all the turrets, make sure you both have nightingales (3-4) to cloak the terminus, and the rest should just be Kodiaks and wolverines.
also put mines next to the bases around the map so you can buy them with the mines vision. (not directly on top, otherwise they will blow up when u build it). buy all the bases every boss wave or so and keep your max pop up.
make sure to have all if not most of the outside barriers be electric traps, as it slows down waves and gives vision to your Kodiaks/siege turrets. block off 1 side with 15 barricades.
I wasn't even cooperating with someone. I randomly queued up and me and my random teammate beat all 100 waves and got rank 91 overall.

In my opinion it's more a matter of coordination. I have reached wave 100 as Atriox with Shipmaster and Colony. Of course it's not simply anyone, you have to choose your leader depending on how versatile you are with him in relation with your team leader and tactical choices, but if you enjoy playing your leader, you'll find the way ;)

You're missing out on one of Johnsons best traits... His towers siphon health from the damage they deal.. His turrets last alot longer not needing a nightingale, or Marines. Huge huge help..

So from this I can properly say that the ultimate leader combo is Sargent Johnson, Pavium, and Colony. This is because u can use Johnson for the barriers, Pavium with mega turrets (which also means that he gets pretty much every mini base), and Colony for resources and turrets. Just a thought, u could replace Colony with Yap Yap... Probably...

Team Respawn Anders is the best because of her sentinels that spawn from kodiaks and siege turrets, also the strong shields on all turrets. Serina is great because of her freeze ability on kodiaks and also her ice abilities destroy air units. Pavium has awesome mega turrets and his building abilities.
Yap yap should be mentioned with how you can drop grunt domes on spires and stop the game for 20 seconds whenever there’s direct air
I like your list, but I keep finding Pavium so hard to utilize as build spots are so limited that the turret is hard to place.
Anders and Serina are a pretty good combo with colony.

Captain Cutter CAS support sucks? You’re joking right? CAS will help lockdown an area in a pinch especially if you’re in danger of having a weak area get rolled over. Also Cutter and Serina have solid synergy with their MAC blast as well as Johnson. Serina MAC cryos a large group, Cutter then blasts that area with his MAC blast. Same thing with Johnson although less effectively because EMP MACs only affect vehicles and anything electronic. Also ODSTs are marines on steroids, you can emergency drop units into the field as needed, he’s just that great a leader. Versatility is his strength and in firefight you have to be versatile. He has a lot of solid uses.

The video is five years old and outdated at this point. The best leaders are Shipmaster, Anders, and Serina. Yapyap, Johnson, and Voridus are A tier. Colony, Isabel, Pavium, and Atriox are B tier. Jerome, Arbiter, and Decimus are C tier. And finally, Cutter, Forge, and Kinsano are D tier.
For some reason yap yap is pretty goosd because of the free cannon fodder and brute riders as well as his goblina

I am playing my first firefight match rn playing Decimus. Wave 39.
I made it to an hour in a public match i was running serina and my teammate was jerome we gave up so for 2vE jerome and serina is a really strong combo serina has got to be a must tho making kodiaks around the terminus is op
I can last a hour in any game but we always seem to fail at about the hour and 15 min mark

Subjective, not objective. You’re voicing an opinion. Not stating hard facts. Others may find success with other leaders. With that being said I do enjoy your videos as I was a long time Halo Wars one vet and only just now in 2024 have begun Halo Wars 2. Keep up the good info.
Another decent leader I think is yap yap because he mainly has please don't shoot me which is great in firefight
