honestly? I do the same thing in almost every game like this if I can because it's honestly just cool to watch your small group of murder robots or whatever vaporizing the enemy like they're on a calm stroll on the beach and having zero issues. and when I had the demo of either this or the first game, I'd basically have an engineer or two near a scarab to keep it healthy. so I say keep building them scarabs and giving the salty people a hard time with them. lol

I have discovered that colony is the best for this strategy if you spec into the leader points for engineer's warm and passive healing Plus combat hardened or whatever it is to get more veterancy your scarabs basically become Immortal because they heal in combat and also out of combat so moving between combat you basically regenerate to full health
I used to play a year ago, but when i tried to play again recently, the game just crashes right at start. I love it but sadly i cannot find a single fix.
Had a game with me and a couple friends. We all got scarabs ready, the max amount to be specific per player, then we had a sudden kamikaze, wiped our infantry, then rushed the enemy with three scarabs per foe. Their reactions were great.
I know I’m late to say this, but you should be ready to buy the next scarab right when the current scarab is being finished. I noticed that you were upgrading in the war council and then had to wait a while to start the second one. Save just a little power to shorten the time that the second (or third) scarab is made. Unless you were to spam unit production upgrade (I forget the name of it) then maybe that would also compensate for that time lost. (Sorry I’m just very analytical about strategy.)
Damn that’s my strategy, I let my teammates distract the enemy while I build up a defense and a huge economy, sending money and power every now and then, and then I build as many super units as I can and fill the rest with air units and annihilate them.
My usual strategy is to play as Professor Anders, get 2 Condors, 1 Retriever Sentinel, 2 Nightingales and Douglas. Playing as Anders gives turrets and the retriever shields and brings down sentinels with Artillery turret strikes. You can just use Douglas as a spotter for the arty turrets to take out most enemy forces until the condors are up. Using the retriever's rechargeable shield soaks up tons of damage so you can keep killing and it can be instantly called down when it dies if the cooldown is full. Also heroes doesn't use any pop so you can bring it with your 3 scarabs to take nodes.
Just imagine the entire team made scarabs. I know super units aren’t strong as they seem but 9 would a scary game. Just imagine a skull that made the only unit scarabs and the capacity was 400
@@rignatetris4435 I wouldn't say scummy. Had any of the three launched an attack against him he would have been devastated having committed so many resources to build the scarabs. They lost because one of their teammates sucked. An issue you can enjoy yourself by playing with AI teammates.

I too know a secret bug. I want you to try it. Be Isabel and someone else Serina, let Serina build her Icethrowers and you decoy them. Watch the ice buildup from the decoys. Only way for decoys to do actual damage. May work with air units too.
You held back, let your friends/allies do all of the attacking, just to allow yourself time to field three massive, game ending, tanks....that's not cheating, that's smart. It was allowed in the game's normal code, they were just sore losers. Granted I'd be pissed at losing to you like that, but that's the breaks, you out smarted them.
I cannot believe they were in a stalemate in a 3v2 for so gosh dang long
Man i remember in halo wars 1 that you could build 2 scarab and 10 engineers. Now THAT was classic haha
posting this before you reveal the scarabs, you CAN send each scarab and the leader to different places, infusion wake a 5th place, and then pop cat. cat 5 places at once and witness the purest form of chedder
I don't play this game, or know what any of that means, but holy s*** does it sound evil as f***.........
@@matthewwilmeth1579 makes it possible to completely strip 5 bases at one time and because of the sheer scale of the assault it would be VERY difficult to do much about it. On top of that if you do it right and spread the infusion properly all of your scarabs and leader will also be healing/damage boosted while this is occuring
@@schneecoraxx8689 sweet Christmas that sounds brutal haha
“Go file a complaint” that’s gold
Me on the enemy squad: Why do I suddenly hear boss music?
I'm reporting you for a major breach of the Internationally Cheddar Convention.
That was too much cheddar!!
*Other team reports you for making 3 scarabs*
Me to the other team: You stupid karens
The enemy was Team Karens all along
It's not cheating when you can build 3 Scarebs. They are just sad
its a sad, unfun "strat"
@@Folfah not really, he had lots of fun building 3 scarabs. What’s sad is losing 3-2 while he did nothing but build 3 scarabs
@@koro_kokoro i mean when put against guys like this i see the fun. But when in “serious” matches or just doing the “strat” every game is annoying and i cant see how its fun. Ive played agains a guy a few times when it was low pop and they only pumped out uber units. Not fun.
@@Folfah it seems your definition of fun is for one side to not play to their fullest potential or how they want. They had a 1 man advantage for most of the game, if they were better they would have won
@@Folfah Its like fighter spam in Empire at war for rebels
what I've seen in this video
Yellow: builds three scarabs in 13 minutes
Red: idk man that's kinda slow you could've done better
light blue: omg cheating
everyone else: quietly accepting fate
Based, love how swiftly you start moving the scarabs and leader just to focus massacre on the base.
So because you have team mates that are good enough and willing to let you cheese a game for a laugh its against TOS...
I would have loved to see you state "Sounds like a you problem.".
*I missed the part where that's my problem.*
Clear violation on the UN Human Rights Charter on Halo Wars 2.
Covenant: "Talk to the Gravity Hammer"
@@CallofDutyBlackOps28 More like talk to Scarab Plasma Beam 😀 complemented with anti air cannons for extra fun 😅
When he told you to build units, you should've informed him that you had built 3 :D lol.
One scarab alone was a pain in the ass to take down in the mainline games, I can't imagine fighting three.
"This man has like, 6 Kodiaks."
Ah yes, the Terran Main.
13:35 I love that, "theres another war council right there!!" That made me giggle
Just imagone how mad they would have been with 4 Scarabs.
I like how the scarabs just never stopped walking forwards.
Thanks for having me!
Any time! UwU
Yeeet
I wonder how long the war on the Ark would've lasted if Cutter had reported Atriox for sending in 3 Scarabs during Last Stand...
Him: I'll just make 3 units
The 3 units: Scarabs
The enemy team: WTF
I always tripod scarabs lmao, it’s literally unbeatable if looked out for by your teammate
Imagine being the person who reads their complaint. "The doodoo head built 3 scarabs and team wiped us because we didn't build any units or try and fight back."
the moderator or whatever reading the report: ''okay but why did you let him build 3 scarabs you telling me you left him alone for the whole match and didn't think that would happen?''
I have no room to talk, I've done the same thing in other RTSs. "Hey, think you guys can protect me while I build (overpowered unit) ? "Oh yeah, " "sure" "go for it!"
Hey Andrew what is a trees least favorite month?
Sep-timber
sap timber 😳😳😳
I hate you both equally
have a like
Based solely on what was recorded, I will be filing a complaint with the UNSC and demanding that all leader powers be equipped with a can of Raid. It's the only way to balance the field of battle when faced with 3 giant bugs :)
my question as an avid RTS player. Why didn't they think something was up when they didn't see yellow ALL GAME. I would be like oh shit im dumb for not even checking what yellow was doing.
I would rather have 3 scarabs vs all the other cheap rush strats
You can hijack em too with heros
Ah yes, no one really did anything to take you out of the game when it was clear you were acting strange, and weren't making much map presence. They got what was coming to them.
Your a grunt in battle and your being slaughtered then over the hill like that one scene in war of the worlds, 3 scarabs appear all hope is lost, and this short war is over
It's all fun and games until you're the one caught in the beam of 3 scarabs.
F to pay respects
I mean hey, if you don't see one player use any units for like five minutes and don't get suspicious, you deserve to get stomped by ultimates.
I've done this in single player a lot but I never thought it was possible to do it in multiplayer. The AI is pretty easy to trick but in all seriousness it's impressive you are able to pull it off. I've only been able to pull it off against the legendary AI once, with a sheer amount of luck
So no ones going to talk about how this man was making a yo mama joke and after being told the mom was dead he continued the joke and finished it? had me rolling
The best way to win is by spamming suicide grunts on their base until they pity you enough to forfeit the match.
Imagine being such a clown that you not only get caught on TH-cam failing to beat down a 3v2 for 13 minutes straight, but also being a poo-head in chat and getting laughed out of the lobby by your opponents. 😎
I've never played this game, seen this game, or heard of this game. I'm so sleep deprived.
I can't stop wheezing.
Everything seems clear to me. Ye got the red army with the infantry spam. The orange guys with medium motorized infantry. And then the one guy focusing on the BIG GUNS while the other two distract the ennemy. Legit strategy. Disgusting, but legit xD
If anything it was just making management easier since there was minimal micromanagement for the team since they knew what they had to make and not worry about anything else
Hey Andrew did you hear about the guy who cut off the left side of his body?
He's all right now
😅
honestly? I do the same thing in almost every game like this if I can because it's honestly just cool to watch your small group of murder robots or whatever vaporizing the enemy like they're on a calm stroll on the beach and having zero issues. and when I had the demo of either this or the first game, I'd basically have an engineer or two near a scarab to keep it healthy. so I say keep building them scarabs and giving the salty people a hard time with them. lol
"Your mom-"
"Dead."
"I'm gonna pretend I didn't hear that."
Yet again, Andrew has failed to beat my scarab rush record 😎
That’s crazy cause this was always my most used strategy. I would just wait till I could build 3 scarabs then cause havoc
Off subject, you and Ed are the reason i finally tried Kinsano out.
so much fun.
it took me a minute to figure kinsano out but once i did she is so fun XD has some trouble with deci and his banshees but i usually have a team mate i can use as an AA bot
Morgan is great in HW2!
I love the Scarab wave tactic as I call it. I do it with decimus and his combat siphon, makes them so annoying to kill in a big fight.
Cheddarfull? The fuck are you saying?
That guy has to be joking like he's probably just in awe of seeing 3 scarabs paying his base a visit cheddarful overall
"Build units next time." He clearly built 3 Units.
"Reported making 3 scarabs in halo wars" Me: Halo Wars is multiplayer?
Lol. Your scarabs rode on Hosties coat tails. Grunt defence and offence against warthogs I bow down.
Had a game with me and a couple friends. We all got scarabs ready, the max amount to be specific per player, then we had a sudden kamikaze, wiped our infantry, then rushed the enemy with three scarabs per foe. Their reactions were great.
That’s genius and utterly evil
@@ncrranger8449 thank you, I take great pride in my work
I know I’m late to say this, but you should be ready to buy the next scarab right when the current scarab is being finished.
"Build units" *builds 3 Scarab's* "Build non-boss units."
I would have reported too for unconstitutional gameplay. The founding fathers would be sad.
Damn that’s my strategy, I let my teammates distract the enemy while I build up a defense and a huge economy, sending money and power every now and then, and then I build as many super units as I can and fill the rest with air units and annihilate them.
Can't even get to that point without getting marine spammed
I mean if they win a 3v2 there's some questions to be asked
Thanks for not hiding their names! I love knowing who the little batches are lol
Just imagine the entire team made scarabs. I know super units aren’t strong as they seem but 9 would a scary game. Just imagine a skull that made the only unit scarabs and the capacity was 400
By the terms of the Geneva Suggestion this is considered to be psychological torture
According to the rules of the game, 3 Scarabs is 100% legal. If it wasn't you wouldn't be able to build them.
*Insert Spongebob reading then tearing paper meme*
Its legal but scummy in my opinion. Still not worth a report though
@@rignatetris4435 I wouldn't say scummy. Had any of the three launched an attack against him he would have been devastated having committed so many resources to build the scarabs.
They lost because one of their teammates sucked. An issue you can enjoy yourself by playing with AI teammates.
@@Kevin7557 I'd say that it is more of a skill vs grind scenario. While op was skilled and earned his way to the top, salty Boi just played so much that he could buy a nation with his pity money.
@@rignatetris4435 If I have learned anything from RTS games, especially Star Craft it is this: If a game is 3v3 and one guy doesn't have map presence then you better be hunting their ass down because they are up to something.
Dude I just got into halo wars 2, I’m utterly terrified….
I find the halo wars scarab a bit too powerful for its own good, especially if their teammate masses engineers a cheap yet sound strategy… but with HW2 I see a better balance at least.
