thanks for tutorial, after many hours of frustration figuring out why models not work with different versions this works like magic guys makes sure you install python correctly, otherwise it won't work

Very useful!! What has been the most frustrating aspect of Ai, for me, is trying to get Disco Diffusion working locally. Mmmm, maybe a video detailing that? :)
Im surprised of how much interest there still is of disco diffusion. I still really like it but didn’t think people were still interested in it. Many people have asked about talking about installing it locally.
hey is there a way to add lora, embeddings and vae to google colab? im trying to use colab but it didnt have my loras, so i was wondering if i can add it to colab. And one more thing, can i run colab sd and local sd simultaneously?
Thank you for the tutorial video. There is something I want you to tell me, but when I open the webui-user batch file, it says "Press any key to continue", and when you press the key, the prompt screen closes and the download starts not started. What should I do?

This was very useful. Could you address the advantage to having the local install vs. the Google colab. Just curious as I started using the colab first and am thinking of installing it locally on my PC. Is there a speed difference? I have an Nvidia card (6gs, birthday present) :-) . Thanks and this was really helpful, esp. as current as it is for me.
Really depends on your use of SD. I do mostly videos so using free version of Colab doesn't work for me since its slow and I also have to be on the computer to prevent it from stopping the process. But it may be worth it if you're only trying to generate images.

No sure if you mean inpainting but you can do that in inpainting which is in Stable Diffusion. 🙏🏽
Do you know if you can run Disco Diffusion on Mac? I dont mind having to pay colab since what ive read said that its extremely slow locally
Not sure how or if its possible to install on Mac, I did try to install locally on my pc a few months ago but got stuck on the last step to install. I know it works great with Colab, especially if you pay for computing units. Your tutorial is great! Unfortunately, I have this error: " fatal: detected dubious ownership in repository at 'D:/StableDiffusion/stable-diffusion-webui/repositories/k-diffusion'", I`ve tried reinstall everything several times, but receive this(( I use PC Windows with Nvidia
I've had this, it was because I was using an external SSD drive for my stable diffusion install and apparently the formatting used on my Crucial X8 external drive did not allow file ownership to be set up so SD was looking for who owns the folder and saying 'it aint you, seems dubious'. If you look at the console it tells you how to manually tell SD 'its okay, you can trust this folder' but you have to do it every single time you do any installs. Pain. I reformatted to a proper windows format which allows me to own my files and folders (i used NTFS, not sure i if that was best choice or not but it works fine), no more dubious file issues.

@@enigmatic_e Hey thanks for the reply, I figured it out, but I have ran into another problem, when I try to run it, it says the gpu doesn't have enough memory, and I don't know how to clear the memory. I have a GeForce MX350 on a Lenovo idea pad 5 (ik it's not the best for this kinda stuff).

I think you need a specific type of Mac for that. Sorry I’m not too familiar with the process unfortunately.

@@emanuelvenancio8752 yes that's what's needed at the moment to run Stable Diffusion locally. But just be aware that there are probably a lot of other AI stuff in the works that will likely be more accessible to people. I'd would say only buy stuff that you would like to have already.

Colab is free but slow. Local install is free technically if you already own an Nvidia gpu

Can't run without a checkpoint. Find and place a .ckpt or .safetensors file into any of those locations. The program will exit.

@@rinkuprazapat3809 you need to download a checkpoint and put it into model/stablediffusion folder. Theres checkpoints in description and I go over how to put it in folder in video.

Have you tried clicking on webuiuser and see if it starts up?
