Jennifer Maker has a sublimation cookbook which you can purchase and download, it has so many different materials and heat settings/time, I found it perfect when I started sublimation.
I don't know if you'll find this useful but I'll tell you how I make mine just in case XD Materials: - 10 gram paper sheets (these are thicker and have a better printing consistency than copy paper, they help the bookmark not be as flimsy) - laminating sheets (you could use the ones that need heat to be applied to them but I recommend the ones you can stick on like stickers) - obviously a printer XD - magnets of your choosing, I like the ones that are 1"x1" and have a sticky side for easy appliance. Basically you get your design into a size small enough to be comfortably used by your customers (mine are 2"Wx3.5H), print the design, laminate the sheet, cut the design, fold it in half, then add the magnet. If you feel like adding some spice to them then feel free to experiment with the dimensions and materials, but those are the basics :)
The coaster turned out amazing!! Just a tip if you're not going to use the Epson inks that came with your printer, you can empty the epson ink bottles and clean them out with water then put your hiipoo inks in them so it's easier when putting your sublimation ink into the printer! That's what I did so I didn't have to keep using the syringe :) xxx
I just got an eco tank also but the 2803, I do not need the needles to fill it with .just the sub ink bottles. Quick tip I have read many times that the yellow heat tape can leave marks on items and that the clear or blue tape is recommended instead. Really like how your items came out!!! Good luck on playing with other sublimation stuff . And great video
Love the strawberry sweater! Also the coaster turned out ridiculously well for your first one. I just got an Epson printer to convert to a sublimation printer and some sublimation blanks and will be conducting my own experiment soon…probably will be posting that to my channel if you’re at all interested in seeing that. I’m just starting out making videos so I’m still learning 😅 anyway…
Just found your channel. Watching you apply labels. How in the world do you put the right label with the correct shipment? You must have a great system.
Milly there’s an inkjet magnetic paper for the bookmark so you don’t have to buy the magnet apart , wishing you the best , thanks for the videos❤ hugs Yorlis
Turn the night owl backing card sideways! So it's landscape instead of portrait orientation. That should look a lot more cohesive with the bookmark being wide instead of tall.
I sell on Amazon handmade and they have a system to combat copyright infringement. So temu and all can definitely do all this. Supposedly Amazon Will online search for images so you will have to verify that you purchased the brand with your receipts if you can’t verify that it’s your brand - from your very own website - of course there’s a brand registry process on Amazon too. It’s costly as a small business but your experience makes it all make more sense to me of how necessary it is. I just can’t upload the same item photos I use on Amazon. Just a workaround until I get my trademarks. Of course all I do is sew so no original artwork yet.
Love your work, very inspiring, been following you for a year now. I couldn't help but notice you mention 'Starbucks' a lot in this vlog. Out of curiosity, is this video being sponsored by them?
Thanks for watching! 😊 No, I will always declare if a video is sponsored in the video, description and through the use of the ‘includes paid promotion’ disclaimer that appears in the top left corner at the beginning of the video x
People need to understand that Temu and Aliexpress are both run just like Amazon. It’s NOT the companies fault that someone stole your prints. It’s the INDIVIDUAL that was selling your stuffs fault. It’s the same on Etsy and Shopify. If you found your stuff being sold on one of those sites would you blame the company or the individual shop owner?
The issue is much more prevalent on sites like Temu, SHEIN, Aliexpress than Etsy and Shopify, and the company aren’t doing anything about it. So I do blame the company as well as the individual

Would you ever consider making a tutorial about how you make your magnetic bookmarks? I understand if not ❤

I thought the same thing 😊 it will definitely fit the pattern better.
