I got scammed for over $350 and when I called them they just laughed. It really just messes with your head. I am in awe with what you done to these low life's. 💣🕳💥💨
But why would you even call them back or answer them in the first place. It is well known that most scams operate by remote accessing your PC or whatever. Also any virus or malware doesn't get installed by itself. It's when you open fishy pages made to look like real(phishing) or bad reputated websites containing lot of third party ads. For a second, even if there is a virus, it is not going to operate by itself and steal your data. So why bother picking up and talking to them in first place??
Also if there is a problem in your system, why not go to a local reputed store or the proper manufacturer's store(Dell, HP etc). This way at least you'll have some kind of physical guarantee that if there is any problem in future, it is easy to contact by just walking right in their store. Why trust so much in the shit online?? Why?

Because this scam operation was not big enough to pay for protection. No policemen on payroll, so they got arrested. The bigger operation never get raided, because they bribe enough.

@@carlosantonio4030 also it doesn’t always have to be over the phone. I literally clicked on an email one time and I had a scammer trying to access my Wells Fargo card for three months until I did delete the card and get a new one. It is incredibly easy for these people to get to you without even speaking to you one time.
Not really. For every operation that gets shut down there are several dozen more that will crop up. There will always be more scammers to take their place. In other words, you got rid of the symptoms, but not the cure. There needs to be a system where you prevent these clowns from starting up a scamming operation in the first place. Don't give them computers, shut off the electricity, deny them the use of the office space; force them to work out of their cars or homes.
It’s the beginning of Gods work. When police raids become frequent enough, fear will set in, and there will be less willing to scam. Scamming will go from selling weed to selling crack. There will still be a few risk takers, but no where near as much due to the increased likelihood of punishment.
Everything about this- from hacking their cameras to the access to their system, their faces on records, and the arrest, collectively works towards instilling fear in these scammers. The day they start feeling unsafe in their offices is the day this vile business stops.
No, these people live in India. The quality of life is way lower than what us westerners are used to. They're very hungry... and not just for food. Where poverty goes so shall corruption. People get hungry when they don't have enough.
@@Unholyspirit Dude I'm literally from India. There is poverty here but those people in the Video? they certainly aren't one of them. They are driven by just one thing- greed. @Dean Ambrose Are they actually tho? Indian police is notoriously corrupt. Sorry if I'm being cynical here, but there are so many scam centers in india that youtubers are able to make a literal livelihood out of making content out of them for years now. It's making me think that their government actually supports scammers through bribes.
The fact the Punjab law enforcement agencies were this eager, and willing to act on this information is such good news. Much different reaction than the police in New Dehli.
But punjab police is more corrupted than delhi police and I’ll not be surprised if these scammers easily get bailed out or even if they are not charged with any charges.
FINALLY! A video where they get arrested! As much as I love seeing scammers being annoyed, having their time wasted, even being hacked or files deleted, it doesn't quite compare to witnessing them being put on the ground and experiencing one of their worst fears come true - amazing video, keep it up!!

@@autotroll9632 It is not a legitimate job. I doubt they need a perfect record but I'm wondering if they would not be trusted in a call center if they were busted for it previously. This might be a bad thing because they will have no choice but to keep scamming and they always find a way to do that.

To be fair, it is really hard to get the police to shut these places down in India that's why they are so common there, the cops are corrupt and bribed. It's almost a waste of time to even try, these guys were lucky to find police that actually take the law seriously. But even then, they mightve been released right away. The Justice system in India is pretty effed up
Not every scam baiter has this type of equipment/resources to do this exact same thing. Keeping a scammer occupied still makes a small difference in the long run.
Doubtful. They will likely just be released and start up a new operation. Even if it takes a few years, the amount of money they could make in just 4 months is worth it for those scumbags. Depending on the location, you could support a family of 4 in India for less than $15,000 USD a year. Assuming the money wasn't recovered and the boss took half of the 100k made in 4 months, that leaves 50k split between 8 people, so that got them about $1,550 each person per month. Even if it was recovered, the amount they can make is worth the risk when they are released. Bigger operations can just pay the police to let them go and they disappear into the wind, assume a new name in a new office, hire new "employees" and go at it again.

I remember working for Microsoft Desktop support many years ago and helping out really old people for simple tasks. Two issues that I worked on and have never forgotten were: 1) Helping a woman install Service pack 2 for Windows XP and I came to know that she had lost her husband recently. I could not fix the issue but I tried to talk to her from one human to another. It was a really long call but I am still glad that I could be there for someone grieving a lost one. Not sure if you guys know what AHT(Average handling Time) is but I alone messed up the AHT for the entire team for a months score card. 2) There was a patient admitted in some Hospital in the US and he somehow always ended up with child lock enabled on Internet explorer on his laptop. It was a simple task of disabling it from the registry but the person was close to going away forever. I was able to help him twice before he passed away. These scammers bring immense amount of shame to the profession to which I have given most of my career. I hope that their families understand what these guys are up to and hopefully they get severely punished by the local Police and Justice departments.
Good on you. I worked (and still work) for technical support companies or roles in companies. I love fixing stuff for people especially when I have the know how while they do not. When I worked for an ISP company I helped elders as well as younger folks. It makes me mad that these assholes are using tech support to steal. AND some stole my past job's site link for the downloads of all the remote software. (The site that has Hebrew on the top, with anydesk and so on on the list). They deserve jail time.
The Indian Government is realising people around the world don't trust anybody with an Indian accent, doesn't have anything to do with right and wrong. Every time somebody sees an Indian the first thing we think is scammer.Nobody will want them,or employ them,or befriend them. And India will lose billions because nobody will deal with them.
I worked for Geek Squad for many years, and while I moved on from there quite a long time ago, I still clearly remember people coming in saying "You people sold me antivirus, and then called me and locked me out of all my files!". Scammers posing as Microsoft and Geeksquad were by far the most prevalent, but I saw some weird ones. While most of the computers were fixed with a simple password removal or forced system recovery to an earlier date, many of the people I worked with really lost everything. I have a deep personal hatred for all forms of tech scamming to this day. Thank you for everything that you do, Scambaiter, as well as many of your peers I am also subscribed to!
Yep. I dealt with them too when I worked for a certain company named after a river in South America. The group that was most commonly responsible was actually featured in a Jim Browning video, Tech Yogi. People calling for help with a device, only to pay these scumbags 5x what they paid for the device itself. I also had to deal with other types of scammers, not tech support scammers, but scammers claiming to be selling stuff (cars, boats, etc.). The scammers would send fake invoices with our company's logo on them and say that our payment processing system would be providing an escrow service for the often tens of thousands of dollars the victim would be sending. Of course, in the end they always asked for pictures of gift cards and when the victim's car/truck/boat/trailer inevitably never arrived, they'd call the real company and start demanding to know why we'd taken their money and never sent their stuff. It was always devastating, having to tell someone they'd lost their entire life savings, money they'd saved for decades to buy their dream boat, to scammers and it was gone forever. I hate these criminals with a burning passion and wish only the absolute worst for them.
This is so fulfilling! And i have to admit,im pleasently suprised ,i thought police/authority, didnt care about the scammers /just let them keep on. Bravo !

Why?

Assuming the money wasn't recovered and the boss took half of the 100k made in 4 months, that leaves 50k split between 8 people, so that got them about $1,550 each person per month. I hope you will take this as a huge compliment, I am actually very proud of you and what you are doing as a person.
These scammers target everyone. I get calls all the time.
Prayers go out to all the elderly that fell for scams
No. These thieves assets should be seized and sell & recovered money should be used to compensate those elders. Or these thieves must be given lashes & made to work as farm workers and pay back the money to those elders.
God is a hoax.
Prayer is a worthless sentiment, that often time gets in the way of a real solution.
Like my parents who thought they had to pay the taxes for winning from Publisher's Clearinghouse in 2017. My dad Western Unioned $6000. There was a lawsuit with WU and my parents got a check for the amount, but it came this past fall. Sadly they didn't get to see justice. My dad passed December 2020 and mom passed July 2021. The check never got cashed.
I am sure your prayers will bring their bank balance back up very soon
I love that when you're showing us video etc of call centers you don't blur their faces. these guys gave up any privacy right when they chose to become full time thieves. Well done. Keep up the good work.
But so much more got blurred
Agree. Please show the ugly faces of the scammers.
TH-cam can take down the video for privacy invasion if he hadn't unblurred their faces
But my point was their faces we not blurred lol
But do any of us know who they actually are?
It must feel AMAZING to have gotten victims true justice!!!
Great job. This is what OUR agencies needed to do and end this menace but they don't. What a shame.
Instead our agencies reify rich companies and dole out strange meager rewards.
Being an Indian, just saying thank you for your hard work, skills, passion and dedication.
You should feel ashamed that you require foreign intervention to solve scamming problems instead of dealing with them on your own. It is the responsibility of your society and every member personally but you are allowing it to continue. Scambaiter wouldn't have to do this if you took care of problems with your own people, it's not his problem but now he has to clean up your mess.
@@gabrielleniehues99 What do you think he's supposed to do? Wear an Indian police uniform with a gun and run to the scam centre himself? It isn't "his mess" because he has nothing to do with it. He probably hadn't even heard of this place before watching this video because it isn't his f*cking problem. You should be criticizing the Indian government, not some random Indian dude. In that case, go ahead and destroy all American scam centres right now.
@@gabrielleniehues99 sooo your country is devoid of any scammers? It has a dedicated scam defence team? Or if none of the above, is everyone in your country an honest citizen?
High bar to pass? Consider that India is still fighting to become a superpower. There are huge problems with the physical world in India so it's really hard to focus on scams.
I understand that its very easy to make fun of governments from the comfort of your home, but understand that :
1) 99.99% of all governments are corrupt in some way
2) There are many problems in India which are to be corrected. The problem is India has a huge population so it seems like the small scammer population is much more prominent. Women have more estrogen than men, but women have more testosterone than estrogen. A small percentage of bad stuff can easily be prominent.
But I'm sorry. Even im jaded. Obviously i feel i need to protect my country. I accept that the problems in India are huge.
I aspire to fight these problems.
You are obviously also invested in these problems.
So lets not attribute scammers to the country.
Let's understand that scammers are not representatives of the country.
Let's fight these scumbags.
Help me in this fight. Let's fight these problems in cyberspace.
@@gabrielleniehues99 why should he be ashamed?

How refreshing it is to see the police taking action for once against these operations. You're one of the very few scambaiters I really do commend. Thanks for your effort, as well as the whole team.
damn I wish we could see the actual footage =( I was so intrigued xD
I replayed it my head and imagined, ill tell you it didn't go well :)
@@MrChris007 hmm
They didnt want people to see them receiving bribes
Can you imagine how much easier it would be to collect the necessary evidence to arrest and prosecute these bottom feeders if law enforcement would proactively pursue it rather than rely on civilian freelancers to do their jobs? I think the only reason any of these people get arrested is so that the government appears to care. If it weren't for people like Scambaiter, Jim Brown, Perogi and a few others who aren't in it primarily for entertainment purposes, my guess is little would be done about it, if anything.
Just yesterday I read the news of these scammers getting arrested, and in the back of my head I was like, Its gotta be either Scambaiter or Scammer payback who pulled the strings,
and to my surprise it WAS YOU. Goddamn you're amazing
Any idea what happened to the woman? we know she lost her scamming job, but she had a decent face and body so a pimp would make plenty of money off her working corners.
18:33 they most likely cut power so the scammers have less of a chance to destroy key evidence stored on the desktops
Incredible work!! Most impactful scambait video I've seen. Getting law enforcement on our side is such a move in the right direction. Some how tho, I assume this group just didn't pay off the police.
A big shoutout to all involved in this great success. Congratulations 🎉
to see them laughing and talking trash through the mic and then hearing them all get on the floor minutes later is absolutely incredible. well done

Scammers*
Fun fact: scammers are so sketchy that their boss has to install surveillance cameras, think about that for a minute lol
Obviously lmao they are looking for people with no morals who dont mind scamming elderly people ruining their lives, of course the boss is gonna have the awareness to know hes hiring scumbags
Or already had them installed, and the poster just focused on their room for the sting
@@briaharris183 Nah that cameras was purposely installed by the scam leader in order to get an eye on his own crew. The poster just gain access to them through their router. It seems not even a thief could trust another thief hahaha
Those cameras were probably installed by the mall
How did scambaiter manage to get access to their cctv?
Thank you. You have my gratitude
Wow, this is actually incredible. You did a great job for human society aswell as policemans.

Why on earth did they cut the power ? Corruption for sure
I read that there was a similar operation in Delhi...... awesome work guys. Going to share something close to my hear. I remember working for Microsoft Desktop support many years ago and helping out really old people for simple tasks. Two issues that I worked on and have never forgotten were:
1) Helping a woman install Service pack 2 for Windows XP and I came to know that she had lost her husband recently.
All I can say is thank you for your service!!
you've done good work brother, Dont let these scammers shame you.
Beautiful
Good on you. I worked (and still work) for technical support companies or roles in companies. I love fixing stuff for people especially when I have the know how while they do not. When I worked for an ISP company I helped elders as well as younger folks. It makes me mad that these assholes are using tech support to steal. AND some stole my past job's site link for the downloads of all the remote software. (The site that has Hebrew on the top, with anydesk and so on on the list). They deserve jail time.
@@ChibiUmeko Yea ... Exactly. I can feel that you can relate to this the way I do, That's the same kind of anger that I hold for these guys.
Scambaiter is so AWESOME 💪 love all the things you do 👍
I agree 100%. Their is no greater feeling than to see these scammers get caught and arrested in India by the police.
Bravo !
Man, this is excellent work and coordination between yourselves and the local police. You saved countless innocent victims from being robbed and those scammers will likely spend a good few years in jail.
