He was killin them cast and working the bait but the whole chatter baits are good there not lol. Not all the time. Nothing works all the time i know but iv still yet to catch my first chatter bait fish and other than catching big skip jack bass fishing the river. Iv casted it 10000 times and not got one bite. I need another video with u accually catching fish with it because its still my favorite bait i love working it but i never caught i fish
Dude, you have become about the best presenter on this platform. Aside from the excellent tips and advice, you seem so comfortable in front of the lens. You plain and simple have skills! Keep up the great work, you're an absolute pleasure to follow. All the best to your beautiful family too.
I’ve been using chatterbaits for many of years but I have only used swimbait style trailers never even thought about trying a craw/creature style. I will definitely be trying one next time I use a chatterbait. That’s what I like about these videos it doesn’t matter how long a person has been fishing you will see something that you probably never heard of or never tried before. Keep up the great work.
I've been fishing about 2 years and I've caught some little stuff here and there. I tried a chatter bait for the 1st time ever yesterday, my wife put one in my stocking lol. Man I caught the biggest bass I've ever seen in real life. It was so awesome and I felt so satisfied.
AWESOME video. Some extremely well received information...I am a newbee when it comes to bass fishing....I now have some chatterbaits and excited to use them...and your information has been valuable... Can't wait to put this to good use. Thanks for the video..looking forward to many more...thanks man...keep the bass on the line...
Thanks Brian you made it easy and understandable that a chatterbait is a bait all fisherman need to take the time with and keep in the tacklebox . Now thanks to my research on youtube im gonna have Berkley's swimbaits worms and pitboss baits and a chatterbait by the time i get all these baits ima probably have like 18 pounds of gear in my backpack tacklebox. Thank Brian for this vid i really truelly appreciate you taking the time to show and tells us about the chatterbait now i know fish'll bite this what i need to do is hit the lake and find out what time of year what bait to use and during the seasons
Love your videos Brian; always appreciate your expert advice and insights....also really liked your appearance on the Scott Martin Challenge...you guys did great and it was fun to watch.
Excellent ideas on trailers and how to rig them. Super informative video. You put out really great informative videos with just the right information a person needs to up his bass fishing game.
I've never used a Chatterbait, been thinking about picking up a couple for a while now and finally went ahead and bought some. To me it kinda feels ike a spinnerbait/jig hybrid of sorts. I had no idea these were so versatile! Gonna throw a Raging Swimmer on mine this afternoon and see if I can catch a few with this setup. Can't wait to give it a shot. Awesome video man, keep up the excellent work!
i love his straight forward no BS presentation..... this man is going to tell you exactly what you need to know: size , color, and technique. i could watch his videos all day. i noticed there are chatterbaits with weed guards, do the weed guards inhibit the action of the bait? if you had to pick one or the other.... which would you get?
Hey Brain, Great video, I wanted to learn a little bit about chatterbait fishing and you knock it out of the field with all different ways to fish that bait. Thanks again
B-LAT!!!!!!!!! Dude.... Seriously I'm lovin this video. Chatterbaits are my ish and I love how you presented this. You spoke about it and described why I love Chatterbaits perfectly. But seriously though. Stop telling ppl secrets of my favorite lures. Lmao. Like the one with the spinner blade on the back. 😂 caught giants off of that trick. Congrats on your latest success brother. Super hyped for you. You deserve it bro.
I tried sharing that tip.. then he mentioned it haha. Right as I finished the comment.. I'll also sometimes not feed the hook up my trailer.. like on a creature bait.. some times I'll just hook threw the first inch of it. Flat threw. Works well gives her a whisker bigger profile
Awesome video man!!! ... i'm gonna get into using chatterbaits this spring, so i'm looking for good ones to try, and techniques. Thanks again :) Tight lines my friend, And good luck.
I bend the hook up slightly when using the bulky trailer vertically. I get a ton of short strikes and fish throwing the lure due to that plastic filling the gap in the hook space.
Hey Brian, u got some major game to throw at someone. Never seen u on this channel till now. Im subbing u bro. Plain and simple explanations. So easy a beginner can understand. I give u a 🖒bro just cause u made that video so easy to understand!
Dude, you HAVE to list all the baits you mentioned down in the description section. Without it, I have to go back to different parts of the video, relisten and take notes. Otherwise a GREAT beginner video on chatterbaits. Looking forward to seeing more videos from you!
Man I appreciate this video, it really helped me with good information. I'm pretty new to fishing so your videos are doing wonders for me. I have a regular chatterbait but I'm going to get me one of those jack hammer chatterbaits. I like how you was fishing with it. Thanks for the videos and information
Good job Chief I just bought a couple of chatter baits I’ve always been a worm and spinner bait guy I’m going to try them up in Raleigh this weekend thank you sir
I have never caught a Largemouth Bass on a jig or a frog! Bought a Chatter Bait yesterday at Wal-Mart. $4.96 a bait. It's a craw color. Just not sure about the trailer color. Roland says to go to the opposite color of the lure or skirt. I am using 12 pd test mono. Low vis green. Will be putting it on a spin cast on a 6'6 Ugly Stick rod. Maybe things will be different with this new bait. Also going to a pumpkin green Senko 5 inch Texas rig too. Shawn
Hey great job, I've watched several videos on people explaining Chatterbait- You've done THE BEST job. Thank you so much. Keep up the great work. Following and subscribing for sure. Keep the vids coming!
Ive never heard of rigging your plastic sideways on the hook. 🤯 So simple, but I've never thought or heard of it.. will be trying next time out. I love the chatter!!
Was using top water buzzer and had about 5 strikes just breaking the surface by the crest. Had a feeling it was a Pickerel. Switched to naked chatter for the first time and as it made contact with the water I tugged instantly and had gotten a strike. Clarified my guess, young 3 pounder but was happy to had finally snag it.
Brain Latimer, that was a lot of great information that you shared with us. I have taken a few notes for sure. And just wanted to let you know you get a 10-10 from me just because you called them bream and not bluegill hahaha. I call them Bream and Ive had so many people ask me what a bream was hahaha.
I had never used a chatterbait until I got my very first MTB box that had the exclusive "Midnight" chatterbait like 2 years ago. I've never caught more fish on one rig than that!!
Hey brother another great video keep up the great work. What do you think of all the pros leaving BASS and do you think thet you will get an invitation to The Bass master classic
Never even thought about rigging a beaver style bait 90degrees out. Makes friggin sense, now I have a use for those D-Bombs that are trashed out from punching but I’m too cheap to throw away.
Yeah. Lost my focus to what you're saying as I watched superb casting. Sure wish I was that good at casting. Just getting back into fishing after many years away. Definitely going to save this vid and subscribe. Very educational and well presented.
Love your show/channel....question: I have been slinging lures right off my line.. the highly recommended ratltrap, for example, tied with palomar knot on 20lb braid, with a spinning reel. I've lost quite a few lately and some more expensive lures too.....I haven't used hard baits much in life so what might I be doing wrong here?....That ratltrap has been great by the way for what little time I can keep it...Thx for that tip'
Okay anyone else mesmerized at how accurate he casts? Especially while narrating a video? My man has some serious skills
yea.. that was pretty phenomenal dude lol
heysogo surgical

Loved this video! the bladed jig is one of my favorites. Thank you MTB
So accurate, yet so casual. You make it look so easy. I would have caught up in 5 trees for that many casts 😂
I've never used a Chatterbait, been thinking about picking up a couple for a while now and finally went ahead and bought some. To me it kinda feels ike a spinnerbait/jig hybrid of sorts. I’m not sure I’ve seen a Chatterbait with a weed guard.

Never thought to turn my bait sideways to mimic fish tail more accurately. Very cool.
I tried sharing that tip.. then he mentioned it haha. Right as I finished the comment.. I'll also sometimes not feed the hook up my trailer.. like on a creature bait.. some times I'll just hook threw the first inch of it. Flat threw. Works well gives her a whisker bigger profile
he's the man for sure in the Southern state's fishing world . He knows his stuff
Awesome video man!!! ... i'm gonna get into using chatterbaits this spring, so i'm looking for good ones to try, and techniques. Thanks again :) Tight lines my friend, And good luck.
I fished a zman chatterbait today. Little too cold still. But they have a great action and go through weeds like a dream. Thanks, great video.
I bend the hook up slightly when using the bulky trailer vertically. I get a ton of short strikes and fish throwing the lure due to that plastic filling the gap in the hook space.
Nice info 👍🏾👍🏾. I will be trying it with that Beaver style bait
Love the favorite sick stick for chatter baits, Spinnerbaits and swimming keitechs!
Fantastic presentation. Very informative

Very well explained! Thank you Sir!
What a great video man, thanks for the information. You are a great teacher.
I always thought the palmetto bug was a bit too fat for a trailer. I’m definitely going to use one on a chatterbait soon. Great video.
Outstanding example of casting left handed and using the right hand on the reel handles.
Great video , very informative.
Thank you.
I use a lot of speed craws on my chatterbaits. Works really well
Love the JackHammer (Bretts Bluegill) color 1/2! It was killer for me for this season on the rivers!
Ive never heard of rigging your plastic sideways on the hook. 🤯 So simple, but I've never thought or heard of it.. will be trying next time out. I love the chatter!!

And just wanted to let you know you get a 10-10 from me just because you called them bream and not bluegill hahaha. I call them Bream and Ive had so many people ask me what a bream was hahaha.

Great video! You give a lot of very useful details on different ways to rig a chatterbait! New sub here!

I had never used a chatterbait until I got my very first MTB box that had the exclusive "Midnight" chatterbait like 2 years ago. I've never caught more fish on one rig than that!!
John Wiley Same story with me. I smashed um on that chatterbait.
Do you tie it on the eyelt from the wheighted part or the little bar that sticks out from the blade
Brian tell me about the rod & specs you are using on the chatterbait. Ty Mark
Hey brother another great video keep up the great work. What do you think of all the pros leaving BASS and do you think thet you will get an invitation to The Bass master classic
