Thumb print box ? Simple take the synthetic sheet (which we use for alcohol ink art), place box or heart vinyl outline on it & cut accordingly. Stick it with glue on plaque & give a clear coat.

Painting varnish is different, and hardware varnish is different. To make edges paint, we use painting varnish as it is thin & easy to use. Hardware varnish can be used to seal table wood logs.

There are 2 reasons: 1- you didn't take the proper ratio of resin and harder. 2- You applied a thin layer. Always add resin until mould is full.
