    There are millions of 'new' houses sitting empty and deteriorating across the country that are tied up by the Bank. The Bank doesn't want them occupied because that would lower the selling price of the occupied houses that are bought and sold by the Bank and that is just stupid business. The lady said there were too few houses, and she will get her bonus for being obedient, but the truth is that the housing shortage is designed and implemented on purpose and it is maintained by those who profit from a shortage. It is the Tulip wars only now it is housing. The talking heads want you to believe there is a shortage but the houses exist, only no one is allowed to buy them.

      @Ziron2008 Do you mean the homeless people they are letting across our border that we are paying the government to protect us from that illegal activity? Those people who have no place to go and no choice but to take from us. Biden is forcing us to foot the bill with all the money Trumps great economy afforded us for a better life. Biden and company are stealing it from all of us literally to buy votes from illegal immigrants. All of this needless spending and all the "as long as it takes" endless wars that Bidens weakness has served up to the world. The only example we set for the world now is weakness. Biden is the sucker of all our adversaries. After more than fifty years in our government the man has learned nothing, nothing. First, he screwed up his own family. Now he screwed up our country. Total white trash in our White House.

    This would be wonderful temporary emergency housing for people that lost their house to tornadoes, flooding, fires and other disasters. During the rebuild period and then it can be hauled away for the next place it is needed.

    This can actually work, we used very similar module types as operating rooms when I was in the military.

      what makes you assume military pays more for housing? Lol
      You guys have lost it down there, Trump's gold but his followers are slowly losing grip with reality, finding a conspiracy in EVERYTHING. ahah

    I lived in a 7.5Ton truck for 6 yrs, I converted it to a motorhome and travelled the country moving from job to job. It cost me very little to live as I mainly stayed in caravan parks or sometimes the site would ask me to park on the worksite to provide extra security.

    Only a matter of time before the company gets bought outright by construction companies and they'll be selling these houses at comparable prices.

    wow not enough land -- most of the US is empty
    sounds like the realtors might be left out
    just as Tesla has no need for dealers

    • @voidofspaceandtime4684
      @voidofspaceandtime4684 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yeah, realtors won't be necessary anymore if you can get these for cheap enough eventually (right now the price is 150k per unit, but as they become more adept at manufacturing them that will plummet). I think she's just scared she will become less relevant.

    I looked at everything on the 10 Fold website and these people only sell IP. No one builds these things. These guys are just a design house. But the designs are first rate and they have thought of everything including insulation, wiring, drainage, grey water, integrated, solar panels, low voltage lighting and off grid living designs.
    Most don't require anything other than a standard container truck, no crane (massive saving), no build costs (massive saving, especially if off grid) and would take realistically 10-20 minutes to deploy but realistically a few hours to install furniture, waste etc but it already has water tanks, batteries, plumbing etc. its the best on the net that I could find, but with no one building them.. then what? Otherwise I'd buy one in a heartbeat. Rent the land and change your view when you a sick of it.

    • @pete1853
      @pete1853 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Rent the land? Better find a piece of land that already has septic/sewer, water, and electric installed. Not the easiest thing to find for rent.

    • @bicanoo_magic3452
      @bicanoo_magic3452 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I don't think you read my post right. RENT the land so I can change my view when ever I desire. Farmland is easy to rent. All those facilities are the same as a caravan park... or off-grid. A little more hassle but the atmosphere and views are worth it.

    • @ErikGauthierDrums
      @ErikGauthierDrums 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      You can have a well dug up for water, he explained solar panels for electricity, and for sewage, houses in the country have a septic tank installed.
      Two costs, and you can rent land.
      Now we need the government to stop charging an arm and a leg for a piece of land to be split up into separate properties. As well as allow for more than one "dwelling" on a property line.

    • @jimkleager
      @jimkleager 6 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      you should check out their website, it shows a real building.

    • @DarknessViper99
      @DarknessViper99 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      jim A real working building in real life? I can easily tell when it's a render. Anyway, besides the concept, there is probably gonna be a huge cost in maintenance with all the moving parts among other problems, so I'm surprised this got as much traction and attention as it did.

    • @jimkleager
      @jimkleager 6 ปีที่แล้ว +5

      viper, if you haven't even looked at the real building on their website your talking about something you know nothing about. you make an assumption about maintenance based on what, have you owned any equipment of any kind and used it for any length of time? to get the kind of wear your talking about you'd have to take the building down and set it back up over and over many times.

    • @samuelschurman3762
      @samuelschurman3762 6 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Not to interject but i think he means wear as in from the environment. The steel parts could rust and such. Also more complicated contraptions tend to be more frail and prone to damage and braking than simple ones.

      The point of the design being outward like that means it should be fairly easy to replace bearings and repair the gravity levers.

  • @michaelcrimelder923
    @michaelcrimelder923 5 ปีที่แล้ว

    First, there are loads of houses out there, it's just that they are so expensive that in today's society an average job you cannot afford one, beautiful as they are, just so expensive that they sit and waist while the more affordable ones are the older ones. Second, this would be a great start and yeah regulations have to be met but one you buy one the transportation of it would probably be the worst on cost and on the brighter note if you decide you want to move you just sell the land and buy new land or posibility of cheap land renting.
